Keanekaragaman kumbang ini masih belum banyak diketahui dan dipelajari di Indonesia, terutama di Provinsi Riau. Sedangkan provinsi ini memiliki heterogenitas vegetasi yang tinggi yang merupakan habitat dan sumber makanan bagi kumbang antena panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi dan mengkarakterisasi kumbang longhorn di hutan Talang Pematang Pudu Provinsi Riau. Metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan perangkap Arthrocarpus. Kumbang dikumpulkan pada pukul 15.00 wib. Kemudian dilakukan pengawetan dan identifikasi karakter morfologi berdasarkan ciri kepala, dada dan perut. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 12 spesies kumbang longhorn, dengan genera yang terdiri dari Sybra, Pterolophia, dan Epepeotes dari Subfamili Lamiinae. Jumlah individu yang diperoleh sebanyak 110 kumbang. Ciri-ciri kumbang longhorn yang dapat membedakan jenis kumbang terdapat pada ciri-ciri antena, elytra, skutelum dan pronotum. Kata Kunci : Kumbang longhorn, Cerambycid, Riau ABSTRACT:The longhorn beetle known as the Cerambycid beetle, is a beetle that has a very important role in the decomposition process which is useful for the balance of the forest ecosystem. The diversity of these beetles is still not widely known and studied in Indonesia, expectially in Riau Province. Meanwhile, the province has high vegetation heterogeneity which is a habitat and source of food for long antennae beetles. -

1 The natural history of mites (Acari: Mesostigmata) associated with the white-spotted sawyer beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae): diversity, phenology, host attachment, and sex bias Wayne Knee,1 Tammy Hartzenberg, Mark R. Forbes, Fre´de´ric Beaulieu Abstract—Little is known about the acarofauna associated with wood-boring beetles in Canada, including long-horned beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). Herein, we assessed the prevalence, abun- dance, diversity, phenology, and attachment location of mesostigmatic mites (Acari: Mesostigmata) associated with Monochamus scutellatus (Say), and tested whether the abundance and prevalence of mites differed between male and female beetles. A total of 176 beetles were collected in two sites in eastern Ontario in 2008 and 2009 using Lindgren funnel traps baited with a-pinene and ethanol lures, and 71% of hosts had mesostigmatic mites. A total of 2486 mites were collected, representing eight species, four genera, and three families (Digamasellidae, Trematuridae, and Melicharidae). Average prevalence was variable across mite species, and the number of mites per infested beetle also varied across species. Many of the mite species collected in this study have been reported from other cerambycid species, as well as from other wood-boring beetles, such as bark beetles. There was no significant sex bias in the abundance or prevalence of mites between male and female M. scutellatus, which suggests that there is no selective advantage for mites to disperse on females. This study represents the first quantitative investigation of the mites associated with M. scutellatus in Canada. Mercado 2015 All Rights Reserved ABSTRACT MITE AND FUNGAL ASSOCIATES ON MOUNTAIN PINE BEETLES ATTACKING THREE PINE SPECIES IN NORTHERN COLORADO During its life cycle, mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae) interacts with phoretic organisms such as mites, nematodes, fungi, and bacteria. The types of associations these organisms establish with the mountain pine beetle vary from mutualistic to antagonistic. The most studied of these interactions are those between beetle and fungi. The least studied are interactions with bacteria, but these have received increased attention recently. Nematodes remain little studied. During 2011 to 2013, I studied phoretic mites arriving to limber (P. flexilis), lodgepole (P. contorta), and ponderosa (P. ponderosa) pines. Species of blue-stain fungi can be hyperphoretic by being carried on mites transported by beetles. Therefore, I studied phoretic fungi transported by mountain pine beetle and the mites arriving to limber, lodgepole, and ponderosa pines. On average, 57% of mountain pine beetles carried phoretic mites, a percentage that increased from 32 to 65% over three years in which mountain pine beetle population declined in our plots. Overall, I found that four of five mite species were common (>10%) on beetles arriving to the three pine hosts, but only T.ips and T. -

Trong phạm vi 2 km ở hai bên đường hầu như không còn rừng tự nhiên, với cảnh quan là hệ sinh thái tự nhiên bị ảnh hưởng mạnh bởi hoạt động lao động sản xuất và sinh hoạt của con người, ở đây chỉ còn lại sự có mặt của rừng trồng (chủ yếu là thông), các khu dân cư xen ẽk với các hệ sinh thái nông nghiệp, trong đó chủ yếu là các cây công nghiệp như cao su, cà phê, điều, tiêu, ca cao, chè. Cho tới nay, chưa có nghiên cứu riêng nào về họ Xén tóc ở khu vực Tây Nguyên. Trong bài báo này, chúng tôi đưa ra thành phần và sự phân bố của các loài Xén tóc từ kết quả điều tra trong các năm 2008, 2009 và 2011 ở khu vực nghiên cứu nói trên. Công trình nghiên cứu này được sự hỗ trợ của đề tài cấp Viện Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam, mã số VAST 08.03/11-12. I. A catalogue of the types of Lamiinae (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) housed in the Muséum d'histoire naturelle, Geneva. - A list is provided of 218 holotypes, the syntypes of 15 species and subspecies, and paratypes of 129 species and subspecies of the Lamiinae presently housed in the Muséum d'histoire naturelle, Geneva. Most of the names were published by S. Breuning. As the taxonomic treatment of the Lamiinae was often inade- quate it was necessary to check the original descriptions for all names listed. The authenticity of several "types" is found doubtful. They are indicated by "?HP" or "?PT". Unpublished information from labels is given in square brackets. Illegible handwritten text is indicated by the sign , When a description was published twice, a reference to the second description is given in parentheses. Separate lists are given for type material of varieties published before 1961, and for unavailable names published with designa- tion of type material. Siess, les récoltes faites par les entomologistes du Muséum ainsi que des lots importants cédés par S. Breuning. Masters' Catalogue of the Described Coleoptera of Australia, 1885-1887, included the Cerambycidae, and was based on the work of Gemminger and Harold. A new catalogue has been badly needed owing to the large number of new species described in recent years, and the changes in the already complicated synonymy. The Junk catalogue, covering the Coleoptera of the world, is defective in many respects, as well as being too unwieldy, and too costly for the average Australian worker. Many of the references in the Junk catalogue are inaccurate, synonymy misleading, and the genera under which the species were originally described omitted, and type localities are not quoted. In this catalogue every care has been taken to ensure accuracy, and the fact that it has been used, in slip form, over a number. -

Munis Entomology & Zoology 3 (2): 621-635] ABSTRACT: All taxa of the genus Tetrops in the whole world are evaluated. A new subspecies, Tetrops praeustus anatolicus ssp. n. is described from S Turkey. Distinguishing characters, photo of adult are also given in the text. It is compared with related taxa. On the other side, a replacement name, T. hauseri kostini nom. nov. proposed for the homonym species group name T. hauseri nigra Kostin, 1973 or T. hauseri niger Kostin, 1973 (not T. nigra Kraatz, 1859). Subfamily LAMIINAE Latreille, 1825 Tribe TETRAOPINI Thomson, 1860 = Tetropini Thomson, 1860 = Astathini Thomson, 1864 The tribe includes currently 14 genera as Astathes Newman, 1842; Bacchisa Pascoe, 1866; Chreomisis Breuning, 1956; Eustathes Newman, 1842; Hecphora Thomson, 1857; Hispasthathes Breuning, 1956; Mecasoma Chemsak & Linsley, 1974; Ochrocesis Pascoe, 1867; Parastathes Breuning, 1956; Paratragon Teocchi, 2002; Phaea Newman, 1840; Tetraopes Dalman in Schoenherr, 1817; Tetrops Kirby, 1826 and Tropimetopa J. Thomson, 1864. This genus was placed in Tetropini by some authors. Since Tetropini were separated by Planet (1924) and supported by Namkhaidorzh (1976) and Danilevsky & Miroshnikov (1985) according to Danilevsky (2007b).
