Affected by multiple factors, China’s economic downturn pressure is intensifying. Under the unfavorable domestic and international economic conditions, China’s silver industry was confronting unavoidable impacting. As an industrial metal, silver is not only widely used as basic raw material, but also plays an important role in the strategic emerging industries. China’s government proposes to break through the bottleneck in four-foundation consolidating (key basic parts, advanced key technology, key basic material and industrial technology); continue to accelerate the development of emerging industries; and cultivate new growing points. The “China Manufacture 2025” report clearly defines the ten key fields of China’s manufacturing development in the future and proposes that “Internet+” is the biggest engine for the manufacturing upgrading in order to realize a breakthrough in China Smart Manufacturing. Government policy gives direction to the silver industry development. But enterprises need to make right choice in adapting to its own situation.
