The 2018 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour continues with the starred classification of its events, with three five-star events, all of which are the Major Series, nine four-star events, six three- star events, seven two-star events, and 22 one-star events, along with the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Finals. One FIVB Age Group World Championships for players under the age of 19 will also be held. The 2018 World Tour began in September of 2017 in France and concludes in August in Germany. 2018 marks the 32nd anniversary of the first FIVB Beach Volleyball event held February 17-22, 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Four events played in 2017: France (Montpellier), China (Qinzhou), Netherlands (Aalsmeer), and Australia (Sydney), are part of the 2018 FIVB World Tour. Four events held in August-October, 2018 in Hungary (Siofok), France (Montpellier), and China (Qinzhou and Yangzhou) will be part of the 2019 FIVB World Tour. · The double-gender $10,000 FIVB Ljubljana One Star is the 40th men’s and the 41st women’s event on the 2018 FIVB World Tour. In conjunction with the CEV, the FIVB visits Slovenia for the first time. The CEV played a double-gender masters event in Ljubljana in 2017. The qualification matches will be held at the Sports Park Ludus Crnuce and the main draw will be held in Congress Square in Ljubljana. · The FIVB Ljubljana One Star starts August 3 and concludes August 5. Kokku oli tähistamine paraadil Kaitseliit esindatud kuni 1500 Uudised inimesega. Jaanipidu President Kersti Kaljulaid küsis võidupüha Bradfordis paraadil peetud kõnes, kas Eesti peaks leppima peamiselt vaid paberil eksisteeriva 3 laiapindse riigikaitsega. SWATCH-FIVB JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS - With the London 2012 Olympic Games in the future, Great Britain will host its first-ever international Beach Volleyball event. Teist hooaega Eesti meistrivõist- lustel III liiga Läänetsoonis män- ginud Kehtna FC Flora mängud on selleks aastaks mängitud. Kok- kuvõttes saavutati 12 võistkonna konkurentsis igati tubli 3. koht. Meistrivõistlustel peeti 22 mängu, millest pool mängi- ti koduväljakuks olnud Valtu kunstmuruväljakul. Võideti 13 kohtumist, 2 mängu jäi viiki ja 7 kaotati, väravatevahega 66:31. Läänetsooni edukaim väravakütt oli 22 väravaga Tanel Oeselg Kehtna võistkonnast. Lisaks mängiti 2 mängu Väike- sele Karikale. Kuusalu JK Rada võideti 2:1 ja Tartu JK Tammeka II-le kaotati 2:3. Meistrivõistlustel esindasid Kehtna võistkonda Tarvo Aasver, Oliver Andres, Olavi Andres, Johannes Haasma, Madis Haasma, Kaupo Kantsik, Raido Karjane, Kalev Kungla, Kaimo Kure, Magno Kure, Kristjan Kut- ser, Ott Madisson, Raigo Noode, Madis Nurmik, Tanel Oeselg, Maakonna meistrid. MARGO NOODE foto Jesper Puusepp, Mart Reimund, Mihkel Reino, Tenno Samuel, abilised Johannes Haasma ja Karl meistrivõistlustel, kus saavutati 7 Madis Haasma, Madis Nurmik, Viljo Sinikas, Karl Tamme, Hind- Tamme.     The International Pierre de Coubertin Schools’ Network, that has schools from five different continents, was established in 1997. Ülenurme Gymnasium has been part of it since 2003. The International Youth Forum of Coubertin Schools takes place for the first time in Estonia from 19th to 26th of August in Ülenurme. Every two years representatives of these schools (students age 16 to 18) meet in a Youth Forum. There the participants will discuss the ideas of the French pedagogue, historian and founder of the International Olympic Movement Pierre de Coubertin about international friendship, respect, faiplay and excellence. They will test their knowledge about Pierre de Coubertin, the ancient and modern Olympics and the Olympic Movement, as well as compete in different sports. During the week they will get to know different cultures and will have workshops in different fine arts. The 11th Youth Forum in Estonia expects 24 different delegations with 150 participants, including the CIPC President, Prof Dr Norbert Müller, several experts on Olympic education from CIPC Board and Ms Alexandra de Navacelle de Coubertin as representative of the Coubertin family. The 11th International Pierre de Coubertin Youth Forum moto is „Kalokagathia – the harmony of body, will and mind“.
