O N E P A G E G U I D E ANIMAL KINGDOM ATTRACTIONS TulipAndSnowflake.com ANIMAL KINGDOM PLANNING MADE EASY! Shows? Rides? Animal paths? What exactly is there to do at Disney’s Animal Kingdom? This one-page guide provides information to help you decide which attractions are right for your family, which ones require advanced planning or FastPass reservations, and what time of day you might want to enjoy each one. In addition to basic facts like minimum height requirements and FastPass availability, this guide indicates whether the queue and the attraction itself are indoors, outside, or covered. Use this information to determine which rides should be avoided in the afternoon heat and rain. Queue interest prepares you for boredom and help you decide which attractions you want to FastPass or only attempt with a short posted wait time to avoid a boring line. Wait indicators give you an idea of the line length that these attractions draw. The attraction types and descriptions provide a basic description of each attraction, how your family might be split up, and just how comfortable those theater seats may (or may not!) be. This guide does not include character meetings. Check the Times Guide in the park for character locations and meeting availability times. Let’s start planning your Animal Kingdom park day! • Difference Between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom
Difference Between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom www.differencebetween.com Key Difference – Magic Kingdom vs Animal Kingdom Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are two popular theme parks of Disney World. Magic Kingdom was the first theme park to be opened (in 1971) at Disney World Resort in Florida. Animal Kingdom, built in 1998, was the fourth theme park at Disney World Resort. As their names suggest, the key difference between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom is their themes; Animal Kingdom is themed around nature, animals and environmental conservation whereas Magic Kingdom is themed around concepts of magic and fairytales. What is Magic Kingdom? Magic Kingdom, opened on 1971, was the first theme park at Walt Disney World. To date, this remains the most popular destination of Walt Disney World. The whole park is divided into six areas: Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Adventureland. All these sections meet at the top of Main Street USA, in front of the Cinderella Castle. Figure 01: Cinderella Castle Attractions and Rides Magic Kingdoms have so much to see and do. • Animal Kingdom Park Hours: 9:00Am - 5:30Pm Extra Magic Hours: 8:00Am – 9:00Am
Monday April 11th - Animal Kingdom Park Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm Extra Magic Hours: 8:00am – 9:00am When you arrive at Animal Kingdom your expedition will allow you to take in the beautiful savannah views from Kilimanjaro Safaris! The intricate details of this park are incredible- look closely at the amazing habitats of the animal residents, along with the artifacts found in some of the ride queues! See how many animals you can find in the Tree of Life, and be sure to listen for the sounds of native musicians as you stroll throughout the lands! *Note: If your day gets off track from the itinerary times, simply ignore the actual times and do the attractions in the order in which they are listed. Animal Kingdom TIP - Be sure to look for DiVine- the moving foliage! She can often be found on the pathway between Africa and Asia and her movements are much like a ballet- she is incredibly beautiful to watch! She walks on very high stilts and is covered in ivy and leaves. She blends in so flawlessly with the trees that you will have to look really hard to find her! 9:14am - Expedition Everest (33) - Embark on an epic adventure through the Himalayan Mountains, but beware of what awaits you as you reach the summit! The legend of the Yeti is real and you are about to come face to face with him on this fast paced rollercoaster that goes both forward and backward! *Note: 44” Height Requirement- use the Rider Switch option if everyone wishes to ride.
