PISITSAK SENIWONG NA AYUTTHAYA DEAD, 17 Oct. 2015 Rama 10 has taken many actions to increase his absolute powers. 1. Issuing an edict, as his first act, commanding that control of the Crown Property Bureau be transferred from the Ministry of Finance to his personal control and use. The resources of the CPB (valued at 35 - 60 billion Euro) were by law previously held in the name of the Ministry of Finance and managed as a state-enterprise according to state regulations by a committee appointed by the King. The previous King’s access to the CPB was limited. The CPB is now registered on the Thai Stock Exchange as the personal property of the King and, under new laws, managed by a clique of King’s trusted military men. The exact value of CPB stock can be researched but sits in the region 20 billion Euro. There were no official objections to the transfer of this national wealth. Freedom to be able to introduce and enact this edict (and others) was one of the main motivations of the 2014 military coup and Prayuth junta. 2. Amending the Constitution so that he the King can rule Thailand without having to appoint a Regent during his long sojourns away from the country. 3. Ordering the removal of as many symbols (statues etc.) as he can of the 1932 overthrow of Absolute Monarchy / ‘Democracy Revolution’. 4. Strengthening the King’s monopoly on power by merging and bringing the units of government in the ministries and agencies that served the Palace under his direct, personal command. 5. Imposing military discipline on all royal aides and staff, including the wearing of uniforms, hair style and forms of greeting the King (- for police and soldiers kneeling and saluting instead of just saluting). 6. Increasing the number of royal guards directly under his command - from around 5,000 to 40,000 soldiers, in other words taking the command of the two most powerful military units in Bangkok from under Army Command to under his own personal command. 7. Imposing a countrywide requirement under a royal project called ‘Voluntary by Heart’, requiring all citizens to wear yellow and take part in cleaning exercise when required to do so by civil servants. 8. Submission by the Palace to increase the allocation in the National Budget for Palace expenses from 60 to 220 million Euro. MILITARISATION under the King’s orders. Rama 10 only likes people when in uniform and in line. Thai children must be in uniform fromc start of school to end of graduation. The whole country MUST OBEY a range of dress-codes ordered and determined by the Palace. The military junta demanded Facebook block access to pictures of Thai King’s lifestyle in Europe. FB did as they demanded. 28 November 2019. Future Forward Party leader Thanathorn demands Royal Army C-in-C to explain an undeclared 500 million Euro in state budget. The next day he had to resign from the Budget Committee. The most dangerous person in Thailand besides the King.
