For the sake of the sequence, the main character will be called Kite, the default name for the character. Kite was invited by his friend, Yasuhiko, to play The World. While Yasuhiko, known as the legendary Orca player, shows Kite the ropes, the two face Aura. Just as Aura is about to entrust Orke to the Book of Twilight, Skit attacks. Orca tries to protect itself and Kite, but does not match Skeith and ends up being data drained. Just as Skeet is about to do the same with Kite, someone distracts Skit and transports Kite to the Pure Slum. There, the Book of Twilight is added to its inventory. It was at this time that the world's servers crashed.
