Anotace Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá hybridním kulturním produktem videoklipu v kontextu globalizace. Zkoumá tento produkt v rámci diaspory Britských Asiat ů a Pa ňdžábu. Cílem práce bylo metodou sémiotické analýzy u vybraných videoklip ů odhalit, do jaké míry jsou ob ě produkce propojené, do jaké míry a jakým zp ůsobem se lokální diasporické produkty stávají globálním aktérem a jakým zp ůsobem ovliv ňují produkci v zemi p ůvodu diaspory. Annotation This master thesis deals with music video as a hybrid cultural product in a context of globalization. It examines the product within British Asian diaspora and in Punjab. The aim was explore how are those two production connected, how the local diasporic products becomes a global acter and how they influence production in the country of origin. Úvod Tato práce vznikla v kontextu prost ředí Velké Británie, kde výzkumnice po dobu jednoho roku žila a pracovala. Velká Británie je velmi multikulturní zemí 1, kde jednotlivá etnika fungují vedle sebe, jejich kultury se p řekrývají a zvyky se vzájemn ě k říží a mísí. V kontrastu s prost ředím České republiky, kde cizinci tvo ří pouhá 4,2% celkové populace (Href 1), je pak multikulturní setkání novou žitou zkušeností. Myšlenky na vznik studie se za čaly formovat během p ůlro ční pracovní stáže, kterou výzkumnice absolvovala v televizi pro indickou, pákistánskou a bangladéšskou menšinu žijící na území Velké Británie, BritAsia TV . V angli čtin ě se pro tuto menšinu používá zavedeného pojmu „British Asians“, Britští Asiaté. Z náboženského hlediska hovo říme o hinduistech, muslimech, a zvlášt ě o příslušnících sikhismu 2. Jakkoli je tento výraz Britští Asiaté, nebo ť tradi čně ozna čuje etnika pocházející z Jižní Asie, tedy z Indie, Pákistánu a Bangladéše, nikoli z celé Asie, chápeme jej v naší práci jako ustanovený pojem názvosloví a budeme s ním pracovat. Jako synonymum tohoto pojmu pak budeme používat výraz „jiho-asijský“ 3. Historie migrace obyvatel jižní Asie

I urged Londoners to use a new reporting system to tell Transport for London (TfL) when roadworks are not up to scratch so they can take action with the relevant organisations and get things moving again. To help Londoners report disruptive or badly managed roadworks, TfL and I have updated the 'Reportit' system on the TfL website, to allow people to identify and report issues quicker. In 2007, finding the need to flex their creative K muscle, En Karma began writing and recording their own style of Bhangra music. Now ready for the release of their debut album, and having vastly toured across North America and Europe,En Karma have embarked on a journey that has lead them to be the pioneers of Global Live Bhangra! They have accompanied and shared the stage with many famous North American and International artists such as Malkit Singh, Sam Roberts just mention a few.
