The compilation of the All-America roster was supervised by a panel of analysts working in large part with the historical records contained in the files of the Dr. Baker Football Information Service. The roster consists of only those players who were first-team selections on one or more of the All-America teams that were selected for the national audience and received nationwide circulation. Not included are the thousands of players who received mention on All-America second or third teams, nor the numerous others who were selected by newspapers or agencies with circulations that were not primarily national and with viewpoints, therefore, that were not normally nationwide in scope. The following chart indicates, by year (in left column), which national media and organizations selected All-America teams. Dedication. Passion. Drive. Young Alumni in the Entertainment Industry
Summer/FallSummer/Fall 20182018 DEDICATION. PASSION. DRIVE. YOUNG ALUMNI IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY SHANNON HALTERS (’02) KRISTA ROSER (’06) CHARLES BRUBAKER (’12) STORY ON PAGE 44 CHANCELLOR’S Dr. Keith Carver, UT Martin Chancellor CORNER Gratitude. That’s the word I’m focusing on this fall semester. As I approach the end of my second year as chancellor at UT Martin, I can honestly say I am grateful. I am grateful for our students. Our current students come from 89 Tennessee counties, 45 states and 22 foreign countries. They bring excitement to our campus and meaning to our work. I am grateful for our faculty. Our faculty are focused on educating our students. They serve as teachers, mentors and advisers. They are incredibly talented and tremendously committed to their life’s work. I am grateful for our staff. We have a group of dedicated team members who put our students first. They provide a nurturing environment where our students can feel safe and intellectually challenged. I am grateful for our alumni and friends. Last year UT Martin received a total of $7.5 million in private gifts. Our supporters are generous and loyal. I am grateful for this region. West Tennessee is home to many of our students, but it becomes a “home away from home” for others. We are proud to be located in West Tennessee. Take a moment and do an inventory of what you are grateful for this fall. I’m hopeful that UT Martin is among the items on your list. This campus is special. I feel it with each walk across our beautiful quad. -
