Register Report for Timothy Turnpenny Generation 1 1. Timothy Turnpenny-1. He was born Abt. 1704 in Horsforth. Occupation in Labourer. Notes for Timothy Turnpenny: General Notes: Section 1 See settlement papers (in file) 12th Dec 1724 for the right to move from Horsforth to live in Yeadon, this was granted and I have therefore assumed until new information may come to light that he was born in Horsforth. He married in Guiseley 1724, with one child born before the marriage in 1724 at Horsforth, the second child born in 1726 in Guiseley. With him being given permission to live in Yeadon, it has to be the same person as all these places are next door to each other. He later moved to Grimesdike in 1732 and Winmoor from 1737, from 1732 his children were baptized at Barwick in Elmet which again is only a stone throw away. Jane Jackson is the daughter of John Jackson and Elizabeth. She was born 1695 in Brownmoor (IGI). Baptism on 29 Jan 1695 in Barwick in Elmet (IGI). They were married on 04 Jan 1756 in Leeds Parish Church - Saint Peters..
