His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday received, at his residence in , His Imperial and Royal Highness Archduke -Lothringen of , who greeted HM the King marking his visit to .

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, yesterday received the Dean of St Christopher’s Cathedral Church, the Very Reverend Christopher Butt, at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, HRH the Deputy King highlighted HM King Hamad’s commitment to promoting the principles of diversity and mutual respect through interfaith dialogue. HRH the Deputy King noted that the Kingdom is recognised as a model of inter-faith and cultural co-existence, emphasising the Kingdom’s long-standing history in this regard.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed the importance of the real estate sector in the Kingdom’s economic system, being a major economic and investment tributary. HRH the Premier pointed out that investment in the Kingdom’s real estate sector is successful and safe, noting that the government seeks to remove all obstacles facing real estate development and facilitate investment in it, and therefore, it has been keen to ensure that the real estate-related laws and legislation cope with the local and international developments in such a vital sector. HRH Premier made the statements while patronising the opening ceremony of the Gulf Construction Expo, the Gulf Property Show and Interiors Expo, yesterday at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Flat6Labs Bahrain began its Bootcamp for its third cycle. Consisting of 17 startups that have been selected out of over 200 applicants from 45 countries, the Flat6Labs Bootcamp is a compressed version of the accelerator programme, designed to teach the participating startups about lean startup principles and how to utilise them in their growth and business development. The Bootcamp is the final phase of the selection process, following which 6-8 startups will be selected to receive a $32,000 investment each, in addition to several other perks such as co-working space, access to Flat6Labs’ expansive network, $10,000 in AWS credits, mentoring, coaching and more.
