The Government of India has received financing from Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Madhya Pradesh Urban Services Improvement Project Additional Financing. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB. 2. The Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited (“the Employer”) invites online bids/tenders from eligible Bidders for Improvement to Water Supply Services in Kari & Lidhorakhas Nagar Parishads in Tikamgarh District and Jeron Khalsa Nagar Parishad in Niwari District in Madhya Pradesh (“the Works) as detailed below: e-Tender Duration Package No. Description of Work ID (Days) Improvement to Water Supply Services Shall be in Kari & Lidhorakhas Nagar Parishads generated MPUSIP-6H in Tikamgarh District and Jeron Khalsa 1215 when Nagar Parishad in Niwari District in uploaded. Madhya Pradesh 3. Open Competitive Bidding (national advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents. 4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: • Specific Similar Experience: Experience in implementing a minimum of one (1) similar contract as per Bidding Document during the last seven (7) years where the value of Bidder’s participation exceeds INR 310 Million • Average annual construction turnover: Minimum average annual construction turnover shall be greater than INR 254 Million over the last three (3) years. • Financial Resources: The minimum Financial Resources availability shall be INR 43 Million. More details of qualification requirements are mentioned in the Bidding Documents. 5. This is an online bidding where only e-Tender (e-bid) will be accepted in the National Informatics Centre (under Government of India) e-GP System Portal and no offline/hard copies will be accepted. To obtain further information and to submit e-Tender for this package bearing e-tender ID no. mentioned above, registration in the e-GP portal (https://www.mptenders.gov.in) is required. 6. The Bidding Documents (including BoQ) is available for free download on the website www.mptenders.gov.in. All interested eligible Bidders can participate in the idding procedure on payment of Rs.34,000 (Rupees thirty-four thousand only) or US$ 500 (US Dollars five hundred only) towards the cost of Bidding Document electronically (through Net Banking/NEFT/RTGS) as per the procedure described in the Bid Data Sheet. 7. The deadline for submission of e-Tenders (bids) together with tender security is on 16 July 2021 at 15:00 hours Indian Standard Time (IST) and online opening will be done on the same date at 15:30 hours Indian Standard Time (IST). 8. The State of Environment Report provides a summary of the environmental attributes and condition of the district and the human impacts on the environment. It also provides a public record of district authority, industry and community activities and achievements in responding to pressures on the environment. State of the Environment Reports can therefore be considered as a mechanism for reporting on progress towards Environmentally Sustainable Development (ESD). State of the Environment (SoE) Reporting will be an annual requirement of district authority, coinciding with Annual Plan and prepared for each financial year. It involves looking at: the various pressures on the environment; the state or condition of the environment at the time of reporting; and any responses that has been or will be made to better manage environmental pressures or impacts to improve environmental conditions. So the main objective of the SoE Report of Tikamgarh is to bring out an overview of the environmental scenario of the district to serve as a baseline document and assist in logical and information based decision making. It is recognized that to achieve ESD within district the activities of annual plan require a shift in priorities, which involves the integration of environmental considerations into the development of community goals/targets, strategies, economic policies, and decision-making in every sphere of activity. The SoE Report provides a mechanism for identifying sustainability issues and trends, and therefore provides a mechanism for assisting the prioritization of district plan in achieving ESD The State of the Environment Report prepared for Tikamgarh covers the state and trends of the environmental issues like Agriculture, Forest, Land degradation, Water quantity, and Water quality.
