To find out if you are eligible please search the list below by the name of your school. Each setting can send up to two members of staff on the training. The first two years of the three year programme were delivered by Mental Health First Aid England (2017 - 2018). We are delighted to have been commissioned to deliver the third and final year of this Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) training programme. This one-day training will be freely available to those schools who: 1) Have not yet received Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training in 2017 – 2018 and 2) Are identified as secondary, middle deemed secondary, all through and sixth form colleges The training will run from September 2019 to March 2020. The pupils were so well behaved, and very much enjoyed the event. As well as thinking about finishing Year 6, the theme of “the importance of bees” was celebrated. The 3D artwork they created is shown here - amazing! - Another highlight was seeing Strictly Come Dancing arrive at St Mark’s. The afterschool club had a finale, hosted by the talented Mrs Bridle. The children did so well as they danced their hearts away to a packed hall. Well done . - Yet another highlight was seeing the Y5 children interact with, and sing to, the residents at Pemberley House. See the Y5 webpage for some ‘moving’ photos, as well as a video of their singing. I welled up as I saw the power of pupils positively impacting on the older generation – and vice-versa. What a school to be part of! And still much to come! Well done to…. It describes admission arrangements for our primary and secondary schools. The Guide contains general information on education in Middlesbrough and lists each of the schools in the Local Authority (LA), together with admission arrangements, including the type of school, and the maximum number of places normally available in each school year. You are entitled to express a preference as to which primary or secondary school you want your child to attend. Details of how to do this are given in the booklet. Each school produces a prospectus. This contains information of a general nature about the day to day running of the school, including details of the admissions policy agreed by the school and the LA or Governing Body.
