[email protected] Phone 03-543-7281 11 November 2020 Kia ora koutou Proposals to classify reserves in Moutere-Waimea Ward Tasman District Council manages 156 parks, reserves and open space areas within Moutere-Waimea Ward. Many of these areas are made up of a number of land parcels. We need to classify most of the reserve areas (207 parcels of land in total) before publicly notifying a draft Moutere-Waimea Ward Reserve Management Plan. We want to know your views on the proposed classification of these existing reserves. Submissions on the proposals are open until 15 March 2021. They include places like Aranui Park, Hoddy Estuary Park, Lord Rutherford Park and Faulkners Bush. They also include esplanade reserves alongside rivers and the Waimea Inlet, along with recreation reserves at Ngatimoti, Dovedale, Upper Moutere, Tasman, Kina Beach, McKee (Ruby Bay), Grossi Point, Waimea West, Brightwater, Wakefield, Wai-iti, Lee Valley and other locations.
