Start: 1km south of central Motueka on Old Wharf Road. Start: Riwaka Domain. Start: Factory Road. Follow the signs to West Bank Road. Woodstock to Wakefield On-road | 1.5 to 3 hours | 30 km This is an alternative, shorter road ride to Wakefield, with a steep climb. It is not officially part of the Great Taste Trail. Prepare: This is a forestry access road used by logging trucks on weekdays, please take extra care. Taste: Rolling countryside and picturesque farmland on quiet country roads; Dovedale settlement; Dovedale hill; Pigeon Valley; Wakefield village and cafes.
