It would be well suited for cellular or PSC use.

COVERAGE The site provides coverage of SR 101 on the east end of Lake Crescent and should cover all of Lake Sutherland. It should also cover the East Beach Road on the north side of Lake Crescent. NOTES The site is currently undeveloped. Depending on where a user places the site, it is anywhere from adjacent, to 1000 feet (by road), from SR 101. It would be well suited for cellular PSC use.

BUILDINGS The DNR has a 600 sq. ft. concrete block building which is no longer available and has been replaced by a 26' X 12' prefabricated shelter and there are four private buildings on site. TOWERS The DNR has a 30' self-supporting tower that currently has no space available. A 100' self-supporting tower has been constructed adjacent to the new building. POWER Commercial power provided by PUD #1 of Clallam County. Backup power is also available. TELEPHONE Telephone facility is on site and services are available from CenturyTel.
ACCESS This site has year around access. On average the site is snowbound for one month per year. COVERAGE The site is currently being used to provide VHF and UHF coverage for the area of Lake Crescent to the east, Forks to the south, the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north and LaPush and Lake Ozette to the west. As a cell site, it provides coverage to spot locales in the previously mentioned area. The site is also used as a microwave hub because of its line of site shots to Octopus Mountain, Forks, Tyee Ridge, Bahokus Peak, Striped Peak, North Point, Angeles Point and Mt. Constitution.
