A body found dead in a vehicle off of Stateline Road in Mercer County is believed to be a woman who has been missing for a week and a half. Shawna Rue Ressler, 33, of Union City, was last seen leaving Union City, Ohio, on the morning of Aug. 4, Dayton Daily News report - ed. She failed to show up for an appointment in Celina, Ohio, and her family reported her missing after being unable to contact her. About 1 p.m. Wednesday, Mercer County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Chevrolet TrailBlazer found in a steep ditch off of Stateline Road, south of its intersection with Fox Road near Fort Recovery, the Ohio newspaper reported.
