The introduction of the Dodge Caliber in Europe this summer marks the brand's expansion in volume markets outside of North America.

Dodge is determined to deliver the five key attributes of its brand — bold design, capability, versatility, affordable power and 'street smart' all-round value — to these new world markets, certain that Dodge vehicles will appeal to different customers than the and Jeep® brands.

Hinting at the exciting future models destined for international markets, Dodge is also featuring the European premieres of Dodge Caliber SRT4 and Dodge Nitro.

Dodge Caliber Dodge Caliber embodies the key brand attributes and offers an alternative in the C segment by combining high value with bold styling and a flexible interior. It is designed to appeal to buyers around the world who want Dodge attitude, packaged with the capability and versatility of a sport-utility vehicle and the affordability and fuel-efficiency of a compact car.

The vehicle will be the first to offer the World Engine family of power units — 1.8-litre, 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre — as well as a second-generation continuously variable transmission (CVT) for the 2.0 petrol engine. A state-of-the-art 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine will also be available for Europe and other key diesel markets.

Dodge Caliber's cabin provides comfortable seating for the driver and up to four passengers, plus room for all their gear. Its sporty coupe-like profile with the strength, stance and functionality of an SUV commands attention and evokes attributes that define the Dodge brand: bold, powerful, capable and street smart.

The Dodge Caliber will be available in Europe and other international markets during the Summer of 2006.

Dodge Caliber SRT4 Chrysler Group's Street and Racing Technology (SRT) group will take its ultimate-performance reputation to new heights with the introduction of the all-new Dodge Caliber SRT4.

Powered by an SRT-engineered, 2.4-litre turbo-charged engine producing 224 kW (304 hp DIN) of power and 352 N m of torque under the hood — 63 more kilowatts (horsepower) compared to the original Dodge SRT4 — the Dodge Caliber SRT4 is for the enthusiast who wants all-around performance of a true "tuner car." The SRT4's ample power is driven through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission for plenty of quick-shifting excitement.

Dodge Caliber SRT4 is the 12th SRT vehicle developed under the credo of "Race inspired, street legal" and will continue the Dodge brand's promise of affordable power. It will arrive in international markets in the first half of 2007.

Dodge Nitro Dodge is spicing up the mid-size SUV market with the introduction of the sensational, all-new Dodge Nitro — the brand's first mid-size SUV — a vehicle whose bold and aggressive styling matches its dynamic performance. Buyers searching for a vehicle with "attitude" will be able to choose from two V-6 petrol engines (3.7-litre and 4.0- litre), and an all-new 2.8-litre turbo diesel. The turbo diesel generates 134 kW (182 hp DIN) of power and comes with automatic and manual transmissions.

Nitro boasts excellent acceleration, braking, and handling as well as class-leading fuel efficiency. The Dodge Nitro will be available in Europe and other international markets during the first quarter of 2007.

Dodge Hornet Concept Rallye-ready and eager to go, the new Dodge Hornet concept vehicle — making its world premiere at the Geneva Motor show — brings to the B-segment market a vehicle that's internationally sized and amped with American attitude.

Robust, capable, and most definitely not "cutesy," the Dodge Hornet Concept has a distinct 'edge' to its design.

Tough, brash and eager to be off, the 1.6-litre, 16-valve OHC supercharged I/C four-cylinder engine puts out 127 kW (170 hp)/224 N•m (165 lb.-ft.) of torque @ 4000 rpm.

The Dodge Hornet concept brings to the competitive entry-level B-segment market an ideal combination of American fun and European function.

Dodge Brand Dodge sold almost 1.2 million vehicles in the U.S. in 2005. Dodge is the fifth-largest nameplate in the United States. The Dodge brand arrives in European volume segments starting in 2006 with the international launch of the Dodge Caliber.
