All event-organising clubs collect ‘per capita’ insurance fees from competitors and provide this to the MSA to cover the costs of insurance premiums. The MSA works hard to obtain the best possible insurance arrangements, and at the same time through risk management and by establishing a partial self-insurance scheme, aims to ensure a surplus over premium and to make a rebate to the clubs concerned.
