Orianthi BiographyBy Aussie KazThis book is rather small in volume and though the content was true to word, most of the information exists on the Internet. Orianthi is relatively new to being known but she has been around for a long time plying her incredible world-class talents so I would have liked to read more about her.Book's manufacture is high quality, print and photos are clear and also good quality.I would have liked to have known how limited the information was in the book before purchase as it is like a child's book.I look forward to when Orianthi; our own brilliant guitar virtuoso and fellow Aussie, has a full version hard- cover autobiography released better suited to books adults usually buy to read. Orianthi is a musical force of nature. Single-minded and driven, she began playing guitar as a young child with one simple goal: to be the best. Considered a child prodigy in her native Australia, by the time she reached her mid-teens, Orianthi was performing with some of the music industry s most respected musicians, including Carlos Santana. Her jaw-dropping guitar-playing skills brought Orianthi to the United States, where she became an overnight sensation after performing with Carrie Underwood at the 2009 Grammy Awards. Since then her life has been a nonstop whirlwind of travel and music. With the release of her CD Believe and its hit single According to You, Orianthi is the music industry s latest phenomenon. For many musicians, it involves the unavoidable compulsion to spend money one does not have on Consumption of Instruments and gear perhaps not even needed. The urge is directed by the belief that Technology in Popular Music acquiring another instrument will make one a better player. This book pioneers research into the complex phenomenon named GAS from a variety of disciplines, including popular music studies and music technology, cultural and leisure studies, consumption research, sociology, psychology and psychiatry. The newly created theoretical framework and empirical studies of online communities and offline music stores allow the study to consider musical, social and personal motives, which influence the way musicians think about and deal with equipment. Més endavant conegut com Alice Cooper, va ser un dels pioners en associar rock i espectacle als seus concerts, muntar petites històries teatrals a l'escenari mentre tocava la banda de rock i crear de si mateix un personatge sorgit del més sòrdid dels malsons. Amb maquillatges d'aspecte sinistre, inquietants lletres i concerts que incloïen execucions amb guillotina, cadires elèctriques o aparicions amb serps enormes (com la famosa boa constrictor), il?lustraven els continguts dels seus àlbums, molts dels quals explicaven una història, en la més pura línia de l'àlbum conceptual. Alice Cooper, seria el primer a desenvolupar amb més sofisticació les posades en escena respecte a altres músics influenciats per l'estètica glam teatral, com David Bowie o Peter Gabriel. Aquesta característica escènica influenciaria notablement a grups com KISS, Mötley Crüe o Twisted Sister entre d'altres. El seu show en escena el mostra tallant bebès amb una destral o presentant-se a president dels Estats Units. Alice Cooper també és famós per la seva carismàtica personalitat fora de l'escenari, estant escollit com l'artista de heavy metal més estimat, publicat per la famosa revista Rolling Stone.
