Behl & Mrs. Harshi Behl For attainment of salvation, which is the ultimate objective of mankind, three paths have been enunciated in Holy Bhagvad Gita – 1) Karmayoga 2) Bhaktiyoga and 3) Gyanyoga. Inculcating more and more of ‘Satoguna’ and relinquishing ‘Rajoguna’ and ‘Tamoguna’; are important milestones in that direction. The benevolent master, Lord Krishna, has explained the profound philosophy of life in different forms and in different words in the eighteen chapters of “Bhagwad Gita” so that the essence is driven home to His disciple. Some profound, still more profound, and the profoundest secrets of spirituality have been shared by Lord Krishna with his disciple, Arjuna, so that his ignorance is dispelled and he treads on the path of Swadharma. Howsoever earnest efforts a Sadhak may make in the path of self-realization, yet he is not able to make the desired progress without the Guidance and Blessings of a Guru. Guru plays the pivotal role in reminding us of Divine advice, teaches us the art of living a balanced life with restraint and stability of mind. He is the one who grooms, encourages, and holds your little finger and conditions you to Fearlessly travel the path of life and achieve your objective. 11 ANANTAM SHUKRAANAAA -XI ऊँ My Journey With Guruji - A Telepathic Connection with the Light of Divinity ੴ Family is the smallest unit of Society and your Parents are the guiding spirit. My parents are my Roots and whatever I am today, I owe it to them. My dear father, Late Shri Madan Mohan Behl, was a highly educated, intellectual, analytical and logical (because of Science, Maths and Engineering background) and a true Karmayogi. He had acquired the Degree of ‘Master of Science’ (Power) from the University of Illinois on 15th February, 1948; M.Sc. (Physics); F.Sc. (Non-Medical) etc. He held many coveted positions in Birla organizations during his service career. Lastly, he assumed the position of Managing Director of ‘Electromobiles’, Bangalore. The first Company in the World that took up the Commercial Production and introduced the Technology of Battery-Operated motorcycles, 2, 3, & 4 wheelers and other vehicles in India. He discharged his family responsibilities with a sense of dedication, commitment and sacrifice. He was a man of foresight and took pre-emptive measures to ward off unwanted and unpleasant situations. He had an unassuming, yet charming, personality. He had an art of attracting people with an ever-smiling face, with his sense of sincerity, honesty, straightforwardness, ingenuity, loving and caring nature, which earned him adorable respect and fame. He was a devoted husband and a caring father.

Three Heritage Books on the occasion of Centenary Celebrations of Champaran Satyagraha released. Set of books titled ‘Swachh Jungle ki kahani – Dadi ki Zubani’ Books published in 15 Indian languages by Publications Division to enable development of cleanliness habit amongst children released. “Saath Hai Vishwaas Hai, Ho Raha Vikas Hai” Exhibition organized and was put up across state capitals for duration of 5-7 days showcasing the achievements of the Government in the last 3 years in various sectors.

From the Orange County Astronomers’ Board of Trustees: Response to COVID-19 Crisis The OCA Board of Trustees discussed our best course of action for upcoming events at its March 22, 2020 meeting, including Outreaches, General Meetings, SIG Meetings, Star Parties and all other in-person club events. We are cancelling all of these club events through the end of May, 2020 to help reduce exposure to the COVID-19 virus and in response to the orders from Governor Newsom and the state Health Department. Chapman University has cancelled our meetings through the end of May as part of its response to the crisis, so these general meetings could not go forward there anyway. We are exploring the possibility of holding at least part of our April and May meetings online, particularly the guest lectures. The details will be posted to the website, email groups and social media when they become available. Please check the OCA website periodically for updates, as the information should be posted there first. Star parties are now cancelled through the end of May. This includes both the Anza Star Parties and Orange County star parties.
