Beaver Stadium Grounds Crew, University Park, PA June 2006 – Present Student worker ● Prepared a multitude of NCAA Division 1 sports fields for competition including football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, softball and track and field. ● Managed crews to complete projects such as: field layout, fertilizer applications, turf repair and goal repair. ● Proficient with numerous pieces of turf equipment. ● Assisted with the design and layout of parking for 100,000 motorists on turf and non-turf areas, including multi day RV camping. ● Assisted Mechanic with repairs and routine maintenance of turf equipment. ● Game day crew member for home football and softball games.
Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia, PA May 2009 – Dec 2009 Grounds Crew Intern ● Assisted crew members with daily maintenance of the NovaCare practice complex and Lincoln Financial Field. ● Worked with other departments internally to host special events such as marketing events, commercial shoots and concerts. ● Gained experience with warm and cool season grass fields in the transition zone. ● Familiar with Toro and Hunter irrigation controls and repairs including computer software programs. ● Game day crew member for Eagles and Temple football games.
