Bu amaçla doküman inceleme yöntemi kullanılarak verilerin toplanması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamı, dondurmanın ortaya Kabul Tarihi:18.06.2019 çıkış rivayetleri ile başlamakta, tarihsel süreçte gelişimi ve yayılması ile devam etmektedir. Ayrıca farklı ülkelerden öne çıkan çeşitli dondurmalara yer verilerek, Türk tarihinde Anahtar Kelimeler dondurma ve dondurma çeşitlerinden bahsedilmektedir. Yiyeceklerin soğutulması için dağlardaki karların depolanarak kullanılması dondurmanın keşfine katkıda bulunmuştur.
