The Autism Information Hub is located at The Elgin Centre (off Carr Hill Road) Elgin Rd, Gateshead NE9 5PA
Main entrance
The Elgin Centre is a building used for various different community activities.
All visitors have to sign in at the Reception desk on arrival at the Elgin Centre. At the Reception desk visitors can say “I’m here to visit the Hub” and you will be shown the book to sign. It is so that there is a record of how many people are in the building in case there was a fire and people had to be evacuated.
The Hub will be in Meeting Room 3 which is upstairs. Signs and arrows will be displayed to show the way.
Directions from Reception desk
1) Go through doors to upstairs rooms
2) Go upstairs
3) At the top, go through the door into the corridor and turn right
4) Follow the corridor to Meeting Room 3, The Autism Information Hub
Getting to the Hub…
By bus The bus service Q1 and Q2 (circular route) stops a few metres from the Elgin Centre and run every 15 minutes.
At Gateshead Interchange find Stand A. The Q1 Bus Service will take you to Carr Hill Road. Get off at the stop next to Carr Hill Primary School.
The Q2 bus service will return you to Gateshead.

By car… The Elgin Centre has a car park and there is on-street parking near the main entrance.
