After a few years he started to play a different sound from the ones proposed by all the other disc jockeys in Sardinia. It was a significant year for house music. After a first approach with the house sound he got interested in the electronic side of it: what we all know as "acid". Between 1990 and 1992 his sound changes and develops into techno. He worked in many clubs in Sardinia being one of the few disc jockeys to propose this kind of music. In 1994 he started to collaborate with the "Harder Times", the first organisation in Sardinia which proposed a different type of musical nights and events with a European touch.this was located in a club that became the famous Kilton, later on called Erotomechanics. During the years, his sound has changed and today he plays every saturday in a club called "Global City" in Cagliari with the Harder Times organisation. "Harder Times" has now become the most famous and qualified organisation in Italy for the quality of the style and sound of the disc jockeys who perform in the three consoles of the club and for the collaboration from artists from all around the world. Danny’s expertise on the island is now elsewhere as he has teamed up with Eden’s new Dutch owner Michael Van De Kruit to help guide and boost the San Antonio club’s music policy and build Eden as an international brand. He is also due to open the highly anticipated Booom (formally Bomba) club which boasts some seriously exciting line ups for this season. Having been instrumental in shaping Ibiza over the years Clubz caught up with Danny last week in Ibiza to find out more. So, why Eden? As if you didn't have enough on your plate. I am excited to work with Eden. I have always worked on the Ibiza side of the island but I have always been a fan of San Antonio. It’s the entry point for most people to the island so I have always thought it deserved an amazing nightclub and now Michael and his team have delivered one. There is still work to be done to help change the perception of what it used to be to the amazing place that it now is, but we are up for the challenge.
