The increasing repair needs and cost is felt by HSU stu- dents who have noticed problems with Jaime Romero, a 22-year-old transfer student, and his roommate, Mia Muegge, are now living in temporary housing due to apartments flooding in College Creek on the campus buildings they live in.

These emergency ordinances are adopted by the mayor of the central municipality in his or her capacity as chair of the Safety Region without any review by the Municipal Councils (Gemeenteraden). These regional emergency ordinances are separate (each safety region has its own ordinance) but almost identical. The model of these emergency ordinances is drafted by the Ministry of Justice and Security and published by the Safety Council (Veiligheidsberaad) which represents all the Safety Regions. The first model was published on 16 March 2020.3 Subsequently regional emergency ordinances were implemented in all Safety Regions based on this first model. The problem was that Dylan was supposed to be playing basketball - not football. The sports-viewing community collectively gasped for air - mostly confused, as there was no indication prior to the game that he was expected to participate. Quite frankly, it looked to many fans as some sort of publicity stunt. But if so, it was a dangerous one that could have serious legal ramifications. The initial claims by Redfield himself were part of an obligatory need to find self-worth in his profession, one that has seen controversy in past years. But he went on to claim that he “knew the risks,” and that he intended to fulfill his duty as a member of the Axemen, regardless of the penalties that would await him back home at Sofawolf Stadium. Potential penalties include suspension, expulsion from the FBA (as well as the UFFL), a hefty fine, or a bit more personal, such as getting seriously injured during a play on the field. We know this didn’t occur, but Dylan played as a quarterback for Silverthorn College before having to leave the sport due to injury.

These nine stories all feature a single narrator-character, known simply as Nick, who interrogates his own past through the art of writing. The collection challenges the notions of conventional narrative tradition in terms of both its composition and its various styles of narration. In addition to their concern with fiction’s ability to capture greater truths, these stories also investigate the themes of memory, trauma, and the subjective nature of reality, as well as the social and societal ramifications of working class life and the physical and psychological consequences of labor. From my point of view, there is no other citation, which more properly expresses the emotional impact of music to human beings. People come and go, but music remains forever, since acoustic waves are not bound to matter like monuments, paintings, or sculptures. In contrast, music as sound in general is transmitted by matter vibrations and can be reproduced independent of space and time. In this way, music is able to connect humans from the earliest high cultures to people of our present societies all over the world. Music is indeed a universal language and likely not restricted to our planetary society. The importance of music to the human society is also underlined by the Voyager mission: Both Voyager spacecrafts, which were launched at August 20th and September 05th, 1977, are bound for the stars, now, after their visits to the outer planets of our solar system (mission status: https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/status/). They carry a gold- plated copper phonograph record, which comprises 90 minutes of music selected from all cultures next to sounds, spoken messages, and images from our planet Earth. There is rather little hope that any extraterrestrial form of life will ever come along the Voyager spacecrafts. But if this is yet going to happen they are likely able to understand the sound of music from these records at least.

    E-BIKE SUMMARY OF COMMUNITY COMMENT E-BIKE USE ON THE RECPATH 2018 FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT: SUMMITCOUNTYCO.GOV/EBIKES Background A new Colorado law took effect Aug. 9, 2017, authorizing the operation of Class I and II e-bikes on bike or pedestrian paths where bicycles are authorized to travel. However, the bill also stipulates that local authorities can regulate e-bikes in their jurisdictions. Purpose of Public Comment Since the change in Colorado law, the Summit County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has received numerous comments both for and against allowing e-bikes on the Recpath. The BOCC has tasked the Open Space and Trails Department with gathering more feedback from the public about e-bikes to determine whether this use might be appropriate on all, or portions, of the Recpath system. Note Only e-bikes on paved pathways are under consideration – not natural surface trails No e-bike use will be considered this year for dirt routes overseen by open space. This policy is consistent with the U.S. Forest Service's stance, which considers e-bikes a motorized vehicle. E-bikes are allowed on forest and county routes open to motorized uses. Goal of Public Comment Summit County and the towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, and Silverthorne maintain and manage their respective sections of Recpath. Deeply troubled by these natural disasters, members of Residence Life are planning a silent auction of donated crafts and services. The auction will take place during Casino Night, Saturday, Oct. 1, of Parent's Weekend, and the proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief funds. The idea to hold a silent auction was that of O'Connell Hall Resident Assistants Rachel Crowley and Gretchen King.
