Symbiosis is defined as, “A relationship of mutual benefit or dependence”. . . the technical and range-requirements for each solo instrument are comparable, suggesting a “separate but equal” relationship. SymbiosisDuo’s eclectic debut recording was selected as finalist for the 2010 Roger Bobo Award for Recording Excellence by The International Tuba and Euphonium Association. In 1994, established a relationship with Walt Disney World for performances at different theme parks. Participated in the filming of a television commercial for “Good Morning America.” The performance at EPCOT in 1996 was the largest participation ever at a TUBACHRISTMAS event worldwide—over 740 tuba and euphonium players.
