Colonel Hon. H; Byng, Equerry in Waiting, was at the Station, and placed upon, the coffin a wreath sent by The Queen. Guards of Honour of the 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards, under the command of Captain R. Scott-Kerr, and of the Royal Navy, under the command of Commander Neville, were mounted at the Station. The Coffin having been removed from the Train by a party from The Duke of Clarence's own Troop of the 10th Royal Hussars, " The Prince of Wales's Own," a procession was formed in the following order:— Escort of the 2nd Life Guards, under the command of Captain H. S. Naylor Leyland. Bands of the Three Regiments of Foot Guards playing Chopin's Funeral March and Beethoven's Funeral March alternately. A Party of the 10th Royal Hussars, " Prince of Wales's Own."
