Austenasian Constitution of 2011 We, the People and Government of the Empire of Austenasia, do proclaim and establish this Austenasian Constitution of 2011, in order to do away with the problems that resulted from the previous non-detailed Constitution, to reaffirm the sources of sovereignty and political power, and to establish a stronger, more stable, and more perfect Empire for ourselves and for posterity: I. As of 20 September 2011, the Empire of Austenasia consists of the Towns of Wrythe, Zephyria, and Glencrannog. E. HIH Crown Prince Jonathan shall hold the title “Founder of Austenasia” in perpetuity. II. Implementation of this Constitution A. Act 1 of the Parliament of the Empire of Austenasia (The Original Constitution) shall from henceforth be known as the Austenasian Constitution of 2008.

MANUAL OF PROTOCOL MANUAL OF PROTOCOL AND ORDER OF OPERATIONS OF THE COLLEGE OF MONARCHS I ARTICLE ONE: COLLEGE OFFICERS I.1 Section One: Election of College Officers I.1.1 The College of Monarchs shall meet jointly with the Board of Directors at the Transition Meeting (Date and Time to be established by the outgoing President of the Board and the Minister of Protocol prior to each Coronation). At this joint meeting, the College of Monarchs will elect the presiding officers of the College of Monarchs – the Minister of Protocol, the Secretary of the College of Monarchs, and the Coronation Coordinator. I.1.2 The Minister of Protocol shall be selected from and by active members of the College of Monarchs and is elected by simple majority vote. I.1.3 Election of the Minister of Protocol shall be conducted by secret ballot. 1.1.4 Once the Minister of Protocol has been elected, the newly elected Minister of Protocol shall conduct the election of the Secretary of the College and the Coronation Coordinator. 1.1.5 Election of remaining officers shall be conducted by secret ballot with the Minister of Protocol tabulating and announcing the results of the election. I.2 Section Two: Term of Office and Succession I.2.1 The term of office of the officers of the College of Monarchs shall be from the date of their election to the date of the election of their successors. 1.2.2 Officers of the College of Monarchs may succeed themselves in office. I.3 Section Three: Rights and Duties of the Minister of Protocol I.3.1 The Minister of Protocol shall preside over the meetings of the College of Monarchs.

Martin Westminster College Abstract Th is article examines the Law of Succession and the Statute on the Imperial Family, texts which were issued by Emperor Paul I on April 5,1797, and which regulated the succession to the throne and the structure of the Romanov dynasty as a family down to the end of the empire in 1917. It also analyzes the revisions introduced in these texts by subsequent emperors, focusing particu- larly on the development of a requirement for equal marriage and for marrying Orthodox spouses. Th e article argues that changing circumstances in the dynasty—its rapid increase in numbers, its growing demands on the fi nancial resources of the Imperial Household, its struggle to resist morganatic and interfaith marriages—forced changes to provisions in the Law and Statute, and that the Romanovs debated and reformed the structure of the Imperial Family in the context of the provisions of these laws. Th e article shows how these Imperial House laws served as a vitally important arena for reform and legal culture in pre-revolutionary Russia. Highlights of King Kalakaua's Sojourn in Japan on His Trip Around the World As Recorded in His Personal Diary
Vignette of Early Hawaii-Japan Relations: Highlights of King Kalakaua's Sojourn in Japan on His Trip around the World as Recorded in His Personal Diary Masaji Marumoto Sometime ago, through the courtesy of Mrs. Judy Reed, librarian of the Bishop Museum library, I found out that the Museum had the diary written personally by King Kalakaua during his sojourn in Japan on his trip around the world. The diary covers the first 48 pages of a notebook containing 100 letter-size pages. It is not mentioned or referred to in any of the existing histories of Hawaii. Apparently, it lay in the archives of the Museum for many years unnoticed and unread. In the diary, Kalakaua described in detail his meetings with Emperor Mutsuhito and the Empress at officially scheduled functions; the numerous courtesies extended to him by Prince Higashifushimi Yoshiaki and other members of the Emperor's reception committee; the military parade given in his honor; and the visits to the printing office, arsenal, paper factory, naval academy, civil engineering school, and other places of interest. Kalakaua had one private meeting with the Emperor, which was held at his request without the prior knowledge of his suite and at which the Japanese official who served as interpreter was the only other person in attendance. The diary is completely silent about that meeting. It is also silent about any political discussion which Kalakaua might have had with Japanese officials. Thus, in a sense, Kalakaua's diary is a tourist's diary. However, it is more than that. In it Kalakaua emerges as an educated man with catholic knowledge of human affairs, a monarch thoroughly versed in royal etiquette and comfort- ably at home with his peer, and a man deeply affected by kindnesses extended to him.

The author said she has no money of her own, yet she goes to expensive restaurants, go shopping in Ginza.? So how the Princess Masako's story is an inherently interesting one. Her Highness paid a call on President Michael D. God, who would be a royal? Namespaces Article Talk. Surprisingly how the kingdoms in Europe are more open to the flow of modernity meanwhile Japan Kingdom unable to accept the change from the outside. I lived in Japan during the years she was refusing him, and I remember both the anxiety over his refusal to marry anyone else and the euphoria when his younger brother married a pretty young woman, though that marriage increased the pressure on the heir to marry. Probably not an in-depth study of how the Imperial Household Agency works but still a rather intriguing and scary account of its role in mismanaging the peculiar Masako case. The Empire still tied to the past. In fact I can only think of one such book, this one.
