Revised July 2018 Seattle Preparatory School Parent/Student Handbook A Reference for Students and Parents Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! Whether you are just joining the Seattle Preparatory School community or you are returning for another school year, we look forward to sharing details about our mission, our tradition, and our main policies and procedures with you. We hope that the principles, standards, and philosophy outlined here will guide you in making healthy decisions throughout the year and beyond. We believe this handbook will help each of us live as “men and women for others,” all for the greater glory of God. For clarity and brevity, we do not spell out every detail governing all decisions to be made throughout four years at Seattle Prep. We do hope that the information provided will give you some understanding of the school community and its programs and will help you feel at home here. If you would like more specific information about any subject addressed in this handbook, please feel free to contact a member of the faculty, staff, or administration.
