Remembering Lyle and Ellen Duplessie SAN DIEGO ROUBADOUR Alternative country, Americana, roots, folk, t has been a year since the passing of Ellen Duplessie (February 24, 2004), one of the founders of this publication Tblues, gospel, jazz, and bluegrass music news and, really, the one who conceived of the idea. The breast cancer, which had been diagnosed years before, finally claimed her life.
