Virat Kohli shares a hilarious incident when MS Dhoni frowned on him and Rohit Sharma for their miscommunication

Indian top-order heavyweights, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, might be the best in white-ball cricket presently, but they have had their own share of miscommunication with each other.

Whenever the two bat, spectators are treated with elegant strokeplay, providing a feast for the eyes. However, the two do not communicate that well when it comes to running between the wickets or while fielding, as mentioned by Kohli recently.

The two have been involved in a number of run-outs in One-Day cricket. Now, Kohli has shared an incident during the 2012 Asia Cup game against Pakistan, where their miscommunication led to the then Indian captain, MS Dhoni, frowning at them.

Timo Werner: Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have 12 days to buy forward for less than £50m

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have 12 days to trigger Timo Werner's release clause if they want to sign him for less than £50m. The Germany international striker's €55m (£49m) release clause at RB Leipzig runs out on Monday June 15.

Werner's first-choice destination is still Liverpool but the Premier League leaders are not willing to pay the release clause in the current climate.

Werner wants to move to a Champions League club, where he will play regularly. A few weeks ago, it had been assumed Leipzig could be tempted to sell Werner for a lower fee after the clause expires, the thinking being that the coronavirus pandemic would cause prices to drop when the transfer window opens.

Arturo Vidal ‘has a place’ at Barcelona, says Andres Iniesta

Andres Iniesta has been talking up Arturo Vidal and says the Chile international midfielder definitely has a place at Barcelona.

There were a few eyebrows raised when Barcelona brought him in from Bayern Munich in summer 2018, but he’s gone on to become an important squad member.

Vidal has weighed in with six La Liga goals this season, despite being a substitute more often than a starter, and Iniesta has been full of praise for the 33-year-old.

“Arturo Vidal is a great player, that’s nothing new. He is a fundamental part of the teams he has played for and the national team. There are many opinions about the style of Barcelona, but a great player like him obviously has a place.

“He covers a lot of ground. He goes forward a lot, tracks back. He links up well and is a very physically strong player. He is very capable of playing for a team like Barcelona. Teams have to look for variability.”
