 Mr. BAI has been practicing as a Chinese for 20 years, servicing and advising a large number of domestic Chinese major State-owned,private companies, foreign-invested joint-ventures, as well as multinationals. Representative Cases and Projects

 2007-2008 represented Tianjin Municipal Government in negotiations with Milken Institute from US with regard to collaboration in financial innovation and was involved in the research and establishment of the first ever carbon-trading exchange in China at the time

 Representing Hematology Institute of China Academy of Medical Science in the collaboration project on stem cell research with SANOFI-AVENTIS in relation to the establishment of “Sino-US Research Lab”

 Advised a major China Bank in relation to several syndicate-loan projects in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Hong Kong;

 2009-2013 served as Executive Committee of LAW(LAWYERS ASSOCIATED WORLDWIDE -an international association of law firms around the world)and representative of Asia-Pacific Region

 Representing China Academy of Science in the negotiation with several investment fund overseas in relation to setting up a major private equity fund.

 2010-2011, member of working team for the research and setting-up Tianjin International Maritime Exchange

 2010-2011, advised Ms TONG Wen, who is Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion at Court of Arbitration for Sports and landed a victory for the first time ever for a Chinese athlete which overturned the sanction against the athlete.Thanks to the

victory, She was reinstated and participated London Olympic Games in 2012 and won a bronze medal.

 In 2012,provided expert opinion on Chinese law in a major arbitration case at SIAC between an Australian company and a major State-owned company

 In 2014 ,Represented a major State-owned chemical company in a Joint venture dispute with a Fortune 500 company.

 In 2015, represented a European Fortune 500 company in a construction arbitration case with an Australian company

 Being an arbitrator of CAS ( Court of Arbitration for Sports), Mr. BAI was appointed as one of the six members of the Ad hoc Division of CAS for the 18th Asian Games(in accordance with agreement between Olympic Council of Asia and CAS) held in Jakarta Indonesia between August-September 2018 during which he was co-arbitrator and President of three cases filed before the Ad hoc Division of CAS.

 Issued legal opinion under Chinese law for Hong Kong branch of a major China bank in relation to a financing deal involving a major China-based state-owned company.

 Mr. BAI has published articles on a wide range of legal topics both in English and Chinese on various magazines.  He frequently speaks in international conferences on Chinese law across the world.  He often speaks on legal topics on International Channel of China Central Television and China Radio International, which are the only national English TV channel and English radio channel in China.
