Sports and Youth Welfare Sports is a powerful tool of nation building as well as an effective agent of social change. Sports also has the potential to play a vital role in improving the health and productivity of the nation. Sport is not treated as a luxury but rather an important investment for the present and for the future of the society. Similarly youth are the pillars of strength of any nation. They are the key agents for social change and driving force for socio-economic, political, environmental and technological development in all spheres of life and overall development of Tamil Nadu State.
