2017 SLS Nike SB World Tour and Only One Gets the Opportunity to Claim the Title ‘SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Champion’ SLS NIKE SB WORLD TOUR: MUNICH SCHEDULE SLS 2016 1 JUNE 24, 2017 OLYMPIC PARK MUNICH ABOUT SLS Founded by pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek in 2010, Street League Skateboarding (SLS) was created to foster growth, popularity, and acceptance of street skateboarding worldwide. Since then, SLS has evolved to become a platform that serves to excite the skateboarding community, educate both the avid and casual fans, and empower communities through its very own SLS Foundation. In support of SLS’ mission, Nike SB joined forces with SLS in 2013 to create SLS Nike SB World Tour. In 2014, the SLS Super Crown World Championship became the official street skateboarding world championship series as sanctioned by the International Skateboarding Federation (ISF). In 2015, SLS announced a long-term partnership with Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT) to create a premium global qualification system that spans from amateur events to the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship. The SPoT partnership officially transitions Tampa Pro into becoming the SLS North American Qualifier that gives one non-SLS Pros the opportunity to qualify to the Barcelona Pro Open and one non-SLS Pro will become part of the 2017 World Tour SLS Pros. Tampa Pro will also serve as a way for current SLS Pros to gain extra championship qualification points to qualify to the Super Crown. SLS is now also the exclusive channel for live streaming of Tampa Pro and Tampa Am. This past March, SLS Picks 2017, Louie Lopez, took the win at Tampa Pro, gaining him the first Golden Ticket of the year straight to Super Crown. Dave Bachinsky skated well enough to secure his spot to be an official SLS Pro in the 2017 season. Also in 2015, the SLS Nike SB Pro Open in Barcelona, Spain debuted as the first-ever global, independent program on the SLS calendar. 2017 highlights the third year of the SLS Pro Open. This contest serves as the second entry event that introduces two new non-SLS Pros, Dashawn Jordan and Auto Horigome, to compete their way onto the SLS Roster. Like Tampa Pro, current SLS Pros gain extra championship qualification points to qualify to the Super Crown. SLS introduced a new gateway program with SLS Picks in 2016 – two new Pros, hand picked by SLS and SLS fans, will skate in the 2017 Season. The SLS Picks is being added for Pros that may not skate contests but deliver incredible video parts and raw street skateboarding. SLS Picks 2017 are Louie Lopez and Tyshawn Jones. As the premier competitive series in skateboarding, the SLS Nike SB World Tour elevates street skateboarding and showcases an international roster of skating’s elite pros as they compete in an easy-to-follow, instant scoring format. At each stop of the Tour, arenas are transformed into custom concrete skate plazas, challenging the pros to be innovative and take skateboarding to new highs. The winner of each stop of the Tour, including Tampa Pro, receives a “Golden Ticket” guaranteeing them a spot in the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship at the Galen Center at USC in Los Angeles, California. Only the most elite eight pros qualify for the final event of the 2017 SLS Nike SB World Tour and only one gets the opportunity to claim the title ‘SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Champion’. SLS 2017 2 WELCOME TO SLS NIKE SB WORLD TOUR Following the SLS Nike SB Pro Open in Barcelona, Spain, the 2017 SLS Nike SB World Tour officially kicks off in Munich, Germany on June 24th at Olympic Park. With the new qualifiers from Tampa Pro and Pro Open set, Munich will be the first time fans will see the complete 2017 roster of SLS Pros compete as well as the SLS Picks. The winner of the Munich event will receive a huge prize purse and the coveted Golden Ticket to the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship. When SLS lands in the United States, the Pros will head to Chicago. It will solidify the top 8 Pros advancing to the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship being held in skateboarding’s hometown of Los Angeles at the Galen Center at USC for the first time this September. Thank you for joining us for the SLS Nike SB World Tour. See the next page for the event schedule. Purpose The WFTDI Skatepark Risk Management Guidelines have been developed in order to increase awareness and help reduce the risks to individuals and organizations from damages and unexpected injuries for those who participate in the sport park skating on quad roller skates. A skatepark is defined as a purpose-built, recreational area having structures and surfaces made for roller-skating. A skatepark may contain half-pipes, spine transfers, handrails, funboxes, vert ramps, pyramids, banked ramps, full pipes, pools, bowls, snake runs and stairsets. These guidelines include minimum standards and recommendations for WFTDI insured members and may be considered best practices for all skatepark roller skaters. The following guidelines apply to all activities, expositions and tournaments when WFTDI Skatepark Insurance is in effect. Compliance with these guidelines is a condition of coverage of the WFTDI Skatepark Insurance General Liability and Personal Accident policies. Incorporated in Dec. 1991, the city has expanded to encompass the communities of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills. The “Lake” in the city name is really two artificial lakes around which are built custom homes and condos. The forest part is what is left over of 400 acres of eucalyptus trees planted in the 1900s by a landowner for a lumber operation. Historic photo—Sat. Dec. 13, 2003, grand opening of the free public etnies Skatepark, Lake Forest, Calif., south Orange County. The city spearheaded the park. SITE Design Group of Solana Beach, Calif. designed the skate surfaces, California Skateparks of Ontario, Calif. constructed it and the Rabben/Herman Design Office of Newport Beach provided the landscape architecture. The major financial sponsor of the skate park, etnies, manufactures skateboard shoes and clothing. Photo courtesy of Rabben/Herman Design Office The Birth of a Skate Park Based on citywide recreation surveys by Lake Forest, residents indicated a skate park was the top recreation priority. Just about everywhere you go in Southern California you’ll see kids on skateboards, often on the sidewalks, or at office parks or just about any hard surface. These spaces often prohibit skateboarding, and so it’s important they have a place to go, to practice their skills, have fun and just hang out. To design and construct the skate park, the city created a public-private partnership with etnies, a manufacturer of skateboard shoes and clothing that had recently relocated to Lake Forest.

  • Alles Über Das Skaten Mit Der Hand

To help people to learn skateboarding through a street skateboarding theory simulation, more than one viewing angle for learning skateboarding tricks and slow motion feature to aid users. The analysis of the current learning media and enthusiasts will be made by interviewing a pro skater and distribute questionnaire to all people both skaters and non skaters. From the questionnaires, pie charts will be used to explain the details of the current learning media and enthusiasts’ type. The results of the questionnaire will be used to create the street skateboarding theory simulation. The Waterfall method will be used to make a mock-up of the simulation so that the users could see and try out the simulation. The result of this thesis is that this Street Skateboarding Theory Simulation will be created as a new learning media to help people, both skater and non skater, in learning skateboarding tricks and also to solve problems of learning skateboard through other media. To conclude, this Street Skateboarding Theory Simulation is aimed to help people to learn street skateboarding. v Keywords: Skateboarding, Simulation, Computer graphic software, Waterfall method. vi ACKNOWLEDGEMENT First of all, I would like to thank God that I can complete my education in BiNus.

A total of six amateur skateboarders (20 ± 7 years of age with at least 5.0 years of experience) executed five tricks for each type of trick repeatedly on a customized ORY skateboard (IMU sensor fused) on a cemented ground. From the IMU data, a total of six raw signals extracted. A total of two input image type, namely raw data (RAW) and Continous Wavelet Transform (CWT), as well as six transfer learning models from three different families along with grid- searched optimized SVM, were investigated towards its efficacy in classifying the skateboarding tricks. It was shown from the study that RAW and CWT input images on MobileNet, MobileNetV2 and ResNet101 transfer learning models demonstrated the best test accuracy at 100% on the test dataset.
