Earlier research in the Förord / Editorial 3 fields of social history, art history and visual rhetorics has been consulted for this pur- pose. Travelling Along the Third Way. A Swedish Model of Stabilisation, Equity and Growth* ♣ Lennart Erixon (December, 2005) Department of Economics, Stockholm University, 106 91 Stockholm, Sweden _____________________________________________________________________ Abstract The Swedish economic policy to combine full employment and equity with price stability and economic growth was developed by two trade union economists shortly after World War II. Through the use of extensive employment policy measures, a tight fiscal policy and a wage policy of solidarity, the Rehn-Meidner model represents a unique third way between Keynesianism and monetarism. This essay analyses the application and performance of the Rehn-Meidner model in Sweden. Although never consistently applied, it is possible to distinguish a golden age for the model from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. In the 1970s and the 1980s, governments abandoned the restrictive macroeconomic means of the model and were thus unable to combine low rates of unemployment with low inflation and high economic growth. Since the early 1990s, Sweden has not met the requirement of full employment in the Rehn-Meidner model. Inizio har frågat svenska folket om hur de tycker att framtiden ska se ut för Miljöpartiet: • De flesta MP-väljare (31%) tycker att Per Bolund ska efterträda Gustav Fridolin som MP-språkrör. Stödet för honom är dubbelt så stort som för tvåan Carl Schlyter. Många uppger dock att de är tveksamma. • Två tredjedelar av MP-väljarna tycker att Isabella Lövin ska stanna som MP-språkrör. Dryga hälften (48%) av allmänheten och var femte MP-väljare tycker att hon ska avgå. • Om Isabella Lövin skulle avgå som MP-språkrör tycker de flesta i så fall att i första hand Alice Bah Kuhnke och i andra hand Maria Wetterstrand ska efterträda henne. • Idag kan drygt var femte person tänka sig att rösta på Miljöpartiet, medan tre av fyra inte kan tänka sig det. “Fully Acceptable” Policies on Homosexuality in the Swedish Parliament between 1933-2010 Master’s Thesis The Department of Government Uppsala December 2020 Author: Markus Sjölén Gustafsson Supervisor: Per Adman Abstract This study looks at the development in policy towards homosexuals in Sweden from criminalization to constitutional protection. A study on the ideational development in parliament has yet to be conducted. By studying the frames expressed in the official documents between 1933 and 2010 the study analyses ideas in terms of problems and solutions to describe how change occurred. The result is that Swedish policy towards homosexuals has been determined by two frames of understanding: a sexual frame and an emotional frame. The policy process of the frames developed similarly in terms of institutionalization. Initially both frames saw homosexuals as dangerous which resulted in a different legal status. The frames gradually harmonized with a new scientific understanding that reinterpreted homosexuality as harmless and the different legal status problematic. Module 2 Sweden Election 2002
MODULE 2 SWEDEN ELECTION 2002 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Swedish data set for CSES module 2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The election was held on September 15, 2002. Local and regional elections were held at the same time. The Swedish election study is separated into two samples, one pre election sample and one post election sample. The CSES module 2 is included in the post election part of the study. The CSES Module 2 data set include 1 060 respondents. Due to Swedish data laws the respondents in the Swedish election study 2002 were asked if they agreed to that their answers would be a part of international data set accessible on the Internet. Among the respondents there were 6 percent (70 respondents) which disagreed to this. The table below show the proportion of respondents that agreed and did not agreed in different social and political groups.
