A Plan of Hope & Promise, a Plan of Restoration and New Growth in Him and a Plan for Eternal Life, ALL because ofHis Sacrifice for each of His Children.

OurPrayer is that God will awaken & renew a desire in each of us to get toKnow God in a more personal and intimate way. He offers us FREELY His Gift of Salvation… all we need to do is ACCEPT IT. For we KNOW that He IS All-Powerful, Ever-Present, Holy, Our Creator, All- Loving, Merciful & Just, Ever-Faithful, Good and Cares about us Personally. He IS Awesome!! He gives us ‘FREEDOM in HIM’.

Movie– “God’s Not Dead, A Light in Darkness” Sunday, June 30, 7:00PM The Rev. Dave Hill faces an unexpected setback when his beloved church burns down− which prompts the officials at the adjoining university to try to kick his congregation off campus. Battle lines are quickly drawn between the church and the community as the reverend now finds himself at odds with his longtime friend -- the president of the school. Facing a legal battle, Hill soon seeks help from his estranged brother -- a big-city lawyer and atheist -- in a fight to help rebuild the church.

Glen Soderholm Sunday, July 7, 7:00PM Glen currently lives in Guelph, Ontario where he spends much of his time inhabiting his downtown neighbourhood establishments, whileg iving pastoral leadershipt o a small and feisty missional community called Two Rivers Church. Having established ar ecording and touring career during the first decade of the 21st century, he continues to travel, to sing, teachw orship, and tell stories about his life in his parish. His wife, Sharon, is a counsellor and he has two daughters, Danielle and Julia.

6 Northern Spirit Big Band Sunday, July 14, 7:00PM THE NORTHERN SPIRIT BIG BAND, comprised of up to 20 musicians, wasf ormed in 2011f or the purpose of playing gospel music in a big band style. Very quickly it was realized that the band was capable of presenting other styles asw ell, including standards of the big band era,v ocal and instrumental solos, popular ballads and selected classical music. They are blessed with musicians from many backgrounds, both professional and semi-professional. Many have music degrees and some are currently music educators, both privately and within the school system.

Live Dramatic Presentation by Jason Hildebrand – "Fish Eyes" Sunday, July 21, 7:00PM Fishermen Andrew and Peter get more than they bargain for when they cast their nets into the sea one more time. The Feeding of the Five Thousand, Walking on Water, The Last Supper - these two simple brothers become unlikely witnesses to scenes from the Greatest Story Ever Told. This fish- eyed view of the gospel story is a very human, comedic and ultimately profound tale of two ordinary men and their walk alongside Jesus.

Andrew Abbott Sunday, July 28, 7:00PM Since releasing his debut acoustic album in November 2012, he has travelled across Ontario playing concerts and leading worship music for thousands of people. In the fall of 2013 Andrew was invited to open for winning artist, former lead singer of the band Starfield, Tim Neufeld on his hit tour titled: Trees. Tim Neufeld had this to say about Andrew: “Andrew Abbott is the kind of humble, ministry focused, up-and-coming young artist that renews my faith in the future of Christian music... see him locally while you can, there are big things in store for this gifted man of God.” 7 Movie– “I Can Only Imagine” Sunday, August 4, 7:00PM Growing up in Greenville, Texas, Bart Millard suffers physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his father, Arthur. When Arthur becomes terminally ill, he finds redemption by embracing his faith and rediscovering his love for his son. Years later, Bart's troubled childhood and mended relationship with his dad inspires him to write the hit song "I Can Only Imagine" as singer of the Christian band, MercyMe.

Ali Matthews Sunday, August 11, 7:00PM Songwriting is Ali's natural passion blending mature and sensitive lyrics with evocative, compelling melodies that weave the "spiritual" into everyday life experiences. She has received 23 GMA including GMA Female Vocalistoftheyearfor3consecutiveyears.Shehas released 9 critically acclaimed CD's, since 2000, on her independent music label, Shake-a-Paw Music. Ali is passionate about her work as an ambassador for World Vision Canada, advocating for the world’s most vulnerable children.

The Master's Four Sunday, August 18, 7:00PM “Livin’ By Faith”, the group’s fourth recording and second with legendary gospel music producer and performer Nick Bruno, was selected as 2005 Canadian Southern Gospel Album of the Year.“My Faith My All” also was awarded “Canadian Southern Gospel Song of The Year” at the 2005 Covenant Awards. The group continued this outstanding history with follow-up releases“Faith of Our Fathers” and “I Rest My Case At TheCross”.Eachofthesereleaseswasrecognizedwith multiple nominations and the song“God’s Amazing Grace” was awarded “Canadian Southern Gospel Song of the Year” at the 2007 Covenant Awards. 8 Movie– “Chariots of Fire” Sunday, August 25, 7:00PM In the class-obsessed and religiously divided United Kingdom of the early 1920s, two determined young runners train for the 1924 Paris Olympics. Eric Liddell (Ian Charleson), a devout Christian born to Scottish missionaries in China, sees running as part of his worship of God's glory and refuses to train or compete on the Sabbath. Harold Abrahams (Ben Cross) overcomes anti- Semitism and class bias, but neglects his beloved sweetheart Sybil (Alice Krige) in his single-minded quest.

Peter is married to Barbara and they have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Peter has had the privilege of pastoring 4 churches. Peter began his ministry journey in Toronto later travelling to Vancouver Island where he pastored there for 11 years. He returned back to Ontario in 2001 to pastor a church in Belleville later moving to Peterborough to begin his present pastoral ministry in 2008. Peter has a passion to encourage and build up people in the Gospel of Jesus and to see the church reach out to the community as empowered servants of Jesus. Peter's vision for the church is to become a community of Spirit-filled servants of Jesus who know, grow, and show God's love.

Never did he expect or imagine that God would call him to minister to a church in the heart of the city. Dwayne has had the privilege of pastoring, Hughson St. Baptist Church, downtown Hamilton, since January of ’95. God has provided Dwayne with a wonderful wife and ministry partner, Aimee.They have been blessed with four beautiful children, Ethan, Abby, Jewel and Ivy. Hughson St. Baptist Church has assisted in the planting of three churches over the past six years. Dwayne preaches at churches, universities and denominational meetings across Canada.

Week4:July20–27 Russ Worrad was originally born in New York, and moved to Hamilton, Ontario, as a youth. Having felt God’s clear call to ministry at the age of 21, he pursued theological studies and receiving his B.A. and his MDiv and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Practical Theology. Over the last 20 years, Russ has served in B.C., Alberta, and Ontario as a pastor within the FEBC and the AGC, as well as a church planter within the CNBC. For the last 14 years he has been the Senior Pastor of Grace Church Newmarket (AGC) while also travelling to Romania and Egypt as a lecturer for New Life Ministries developing indigenous leaders in foreign countries through partnerships with local denominations. Russ and Shereen are empty nesters and live in Newmarket Ontario.

At Heritage, Rick teaches in the areas of preaching and pastoral theology. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Biola University, Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Dr. Reed is committed to using Scripture and his ministry experience to glorify God in the training and equipping of men and women for life and ministry. Rick is married to Linda who directs the Heritage Centre forWomen in Ministry and holds Doctor of Education degree from Southern Seminary. The Reeds have three grown children.

Previously, he served at Arnstein Baptist Church for 8 years. Kevin was converted to Christ while at University, along with his wife Charlene. He received his M.Div. from Central Baptist Seminary, first attending because he wanted to learn quickly, but soon realizing that he was to make his living from the Gospel. Kevin loves to develop elders and minister together as a shepherding team. He has 5 adult children, with four married and 5 grandchildren with the expectation of many more.

Week 8: August 17 – 24 Dr. Steve West is the lead pastor at Crestwicke Baptist Church in Guelph, ON, as well as an adjunct professor at Heritage Seminary (Cambridge) and Toronto Baptist Seminary (Toronto). Steve has preached and lectured in Canada, the United States, Africa, and Asia. He has been in pastoral ministry for over 12 years. He has published many articles in print and online as well as authored or contributed to several books such as Head, Heart, Hands: Life-Transforming Apologetics (2015) and Resurrection, Scripture and Reformed Apologetics (2012). Steve and his wife Heather have two beautiful daughters, Charlotte and Brooklyn and one unreasonably cute dog.

Martin began part-time in Bridgewater NS, then as an associate at Peoples Church of Montreal, before moving with their four children to become Senior Pastor of Grace Gospel Church, Niagara Falls. Martin has worked “shoulder-to-shoulder” with the Niagara Falls City Church Network, appreciating the role of Christ’s (diverse) Church in fulfilling the mandate of making disciples until Christ returns. Along with preaching, leading and pastoral care, nothing brings more joy to his heart than seeing people“get it”—to understand God’s Word and grow to follow close to Jesus more faithfully, confidently, and fruitfully.
