PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CANADIAN GOSPEL RECORDING ARTIST RAYLENE SCARROTT GOES GLOBAL Calgary, June 10, 2005 – Canadian gospel music fans will now have to share one of their favourite artists as Juno Nominee Raylene Scarrott’s music is now going to be “Taken” around the globe. Scarrott announced this week that she has signed an international sales and marketing agreement with Go Global Entertainment, LLC. Australia and New Zealand will be the first international markets to be introduced to Raylene’s debut album “Taken”. With a home base of Nashville, Tennessee, USA, Go Global Entertainment, LLC specializes in the sales, marketing, licensing and distribution of Christian products worldwide. Eric Nordhoff, president of Go Global says “I have known of Raylene Scarrott’s growing success and this seems to be the right time to take her music to the next level. I am very honoured to work with her. I am thrilled that more people around the world will be impacted by Raylene’s God-given talent and ministry.” Eric Nordhoff is used to overseeing international sales and marketing from his years running the International divisions at Word Entertainment and Provident Music Group. Go Global exists to bring the hope of the Gospel to all the world through the sale, marketing and promotion of quality Christian music and media. “Not only is it a privilege and a great opportunity to work with Go Global, I am humbled and very excited about the many open doors for ministry that this partnership will no doubt bring. It’s a perfect fit!” responds Raylene when asked about her decision to sign. While Christian radio in Australia has already started playing Raylene’s music, a country-wide marketing and promotion effort is just getting underway “down under”. “Taken” is scheduled for release in September at Christian retail in Australia and New Zealand. In the Spring of 2006, Raylene plans to headline a tour of the region. After a steady stream of top-selling ministry-driven artists from Canada, Raylene proves that the talent pool is only growing in the country that brought the world such artists as Carolyn Arends, Steve Bell, Starfield, Downhere, and many more. "Taken", definitely one of Canada’s best 2004 offerings to the Christian contemporary market, features a host of well- known talent. Jody McBrayer of Avalon (a Christian vocal group that has sold 3 million records world-wide) sings a duet with Raylene on "I Surrender All", which also features backup by Paul Brandt (a Canadian Country-singer well-known across North America). “Taken” while standing toe-to-toe with major-label releases, was produced independently, recorded in Nashville with Steve Rosen (who also produced Paul Brandt), and released across Canada through CMC Distribution to Christian radio and retailers. Since its release, three radio singles have received an overwhelming response from the growing Canadian Christian radio sector. Raylene is no stranger to awards. In 2004, she took home the Covenant Award (the top Christian Canadian Award) for Best Pop/Contemporary Recording for her album “Taken”. This year, the album was nominated for a Juno Award (equivalent to the Grammy’s in the US) for “Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year”. ### To learn more about Go Global, please visit www.goglobalentertainment.com or e-mail [email protected] To learn more about Raylene Scarrott, please visit www.raylenemusic.com To contact us regarding Raylene Scarrott, please e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] .
