Truman Capote: Against a Copper Sky World Premiere Commissioned by the Alabama Center for Literary Arts In one powerful act this play offers an intimate glimpse of one of Alabama’s most celebrated literary talents. The production subtly interweaves the private man and his forged persona in a moving reflection of the conflict and tension in his honest and oft-times jarring self-examination. The play features University of Montevallo actor Nick Crawford as Capote. To Kill A Mockingbird Two-act, stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s 1935 Southern story dealing with prejudice, courage, love, and understanding, performed by a hometown cast in the Old Monroe County Courthouse.
