This iconic building was completed in 1933 and is the centerpiece of the 19-tower Rockefeller Center complex. Rebranded as the Comcast Building in 2015, the building was formerly called the RCA Building until 1988 and the GE Building from 1988 - 2015. The building, completed in May 1933, is the centerpiece of the 19-tower Rockefeller Center complex. Rockefeller Center is a 9.4M RSF “city within a city” and the finest example of a social hub and cultural center. Rockefeller Center encompasses six square blocks and an abundance of retail shops, dining facilities, and entertainment venues. A significant piece of architecture in America, the building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987.
