Consists of deli sandwich, chips, fruit cup, cookies, and juice box. Visitors to the Monument undergo additional security screening. • All persons and property are subject to search on Liberty Island. Lunch in Rockefeller Center ($10 cash allotment) 1:00 p.m. Equipment needs to be unloaded onto sidewalk by James and Fayetteville representatives. Walk to Carnegie Hall for Rehearsal, doors open at 2pm. FHS needs to arrive at 2:45 p.m. Non-Wind Ensemble members will have free time in Rockefeller Center until dinner at Applebees. *Directors can dress in the Maestro Suite. *Backstage Guest list: Mike G, James D, 3 World Projects Staff, Samantha Ferrell (pianist) 2:45 p.m. Fayetteville will arrive at the truck and begin unloading instruments and uniforms. 3:00 p.m. Fayetteville HS Wind Ensemble arrive at the Carnegie Hall stage door – GMT escorts will take them to the warm-up room on the 4th floor. 3:35 p.m. Fayetteville HS will be escorted will be prepared to walk to the stage 3:45 p.m. Fayetteville HS take the stage * Notice, Fayetteville HS is going second in rehearsal but actually will be last during performance 4:00 p.m. -4:30 p.m. Fayetteville HS sound check. – after the sound check, FHS returns to warm-up room (Orchestra Lounge on 3 rd floor) to pack-up instruments and goes to dinner. 4:45 p.m. Walk to dinner at Applebees (.4 miles, 10 minutes) 5:00 p.m. Dinner at Applebees 205 W 50 th St New York, NY Phone: (212) 262-2400 Menu: Chicken Finger platter, Buffalo wing basket, Oriental chicken salad, all American hamburger and all American cheeseburger. 7:00 p.m. Stage available 7:05 p.m. Fayetteville HS arrives at the Carnegie Hall stage door - escorted to the dressing room (Orchestra Room 1) 7:30 p.m. House opens 7:30 p.m. The rest of FHS starts arriving at Carnegie Hall and takes seats in the hall 7:45 p.m. Fayetteville HS Wind Ensemble takes seats in back of house to listen to Roxbury HS 8:00 p.m. Concert begins (Homestead HS backstage at the start of the concert) 8:00 p.m.-8:05 p.m. Opening Comments 8:35 p.m. Fayetteville HS performers will be escorted to warm-up room to grab instruments 8:55 p.m. Fayetteville will arrive backstage 9:15 p.m. Fayetteville takes the stage 9:25 p.m.-9:55 p.m. Fayetteville HS performance followed by closing comments & presentation 10:10 p.m. (approximate) After the concert, all ensembles will return backstage to collect instruments then FHS will depart the hall for Crowne Plaza Englewood. Check-out is tomorrow AM! 11:30 p.m. McRoberts security guard will arrive at the hotel Wednesday, November 23, 2011 Travel Day 5:30 a.m. McRoberts security guard will depart the hotel Breakfast at the Grand Ballroom (included at hotel - Full American Breakfast Buffet) 7:45 a.m. Depart hotel via motorcoach for transfer to Philadelphia (approximately 2 hours) Semi Trailer parking is at 114 Callowhill St. If he parks there from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., parking is $70.00. FHS is responsible for this. It is too far from the hotel to walk, the driver will need to taxi. This lot is owned by Impark. (215) 829-8200 (this company owns many lots). Buses should enter the ITC off Race Street, before 5th Street. Motor coaches will be allowed to remain in the area for 10-15 minutes to load or unload passengers, depending on the volume of traffic. There is a $20 fee if the coach parks in the designated motorcoach parking lot. 11:30 a.m. Walk to the Bourse for lunch (included with $10 cash allotment). 1:00 p.m. Devin, Deanna, and director take a taxi to the Four Seasons Hotel for the circle wipe recording (make sure you take uniforms). 1:30 p.m. Meet the Historic Philadelphia tour guide. Tour includes Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Congress Hall, Betsy Ross House and Christ Church (subject to change based on timing and availability).
