Significant projects in planning phase or moving to project commencement: • Enrichment and Upgrade Project - $5.4M Enrichment treatment has occurred and tender to commence works on runway end reconstruction currently underway – part funded by State of Queensland • Upgrade to the General Aviation area - $3M Reconstruction of aprons and refuelling area, taxiway and apron widening, improved drainage/overland flow pathways and resurfacing – part funded by Federal Government • Air Hub including Business Innovation Centre - $28M – in planning phase and submitted for Federal Government funding • Review of the Emerald Airport Master Plan
