RESOLUTIONS PASSED A) AUTHORIZING GOVERNMENT TO BORROW Parliament approved the following 16 requests by Government to borrow: DATE RESOLUTIONS PASSED 5 26/09/18 Units of Account (UA) 57 million (USD 76.95 million) from the African Development Bank to support the Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (AVCP) 1. 25/09/18 SDR 231.7 million from the International Development Association of the World Bank as additional financing for the Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development Programme. 18/12/18 UA 44 million from the African Development Fund of the African Development Bank (ADB) for financing the Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project (STWSSP). 18/12/18 Euros 219,482,721 from the UK Export Finance (UKEF) and Euros 30,384,976 from Standard Chartered Bank (London) for the development (design and build) of the Kampala Industrial and Business Park at Namanve in Mukono and Wakiso districts. Draft 19/12/181. SDR 174.6 million (US $ 251 million equivalent) from the IDA World Bank Group for financing the Integrated Water Management and Development Project. 20/12/18 Euro 120 Million from the French Development Agency – AFD for the development of water and sanitation infrastructure for the South Western Cluster (Mbarara – Masaka areas). 20/12/18 Euro 150.0 Million from the Agence Française Dévelopement (ADF) to support the Kampala Water – Lake Victoria Water And Sanitation II (KW-LVWATSAN II) Project. 20/12/18 US$33,000,000 from the Islamic Development Bank to support the Local Economic Growth Support (LEGS) Project. 23/1/19 US$ 210 million from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to finance the upgrading of the Rwekunye-Apac-Lira- 6 Acholibur Road Project under the new Islamic Development Bank financing terms. 23/1/19 US$ 110 million from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to finance the upgrading of the Muyembe-Nakapiripirit Road Project under the new Islamic Development Bank financing terms. 12/2/19 US$ 5 million from the Export-Import Bank of India, and US$ 15 million from the African Development Bank [AfDB] as guarantee for lines of credit to Uganda Development Bank Limited [UDBL]. 12/03/19 US$ 379.71 million in promissory notes to FINASI/Roko Construction SPV Limited for the financing of the International Specialized Hospital of Uganda at Lubowa, Wakiso District. 04/04/19 US$ 100 Million (approximately UGX.380 billion) from the Draft domestic market to finance classified expenditure under Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs for the FY 2018/19. 04/04/19 SDR 145.9 million (US$200 million) from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group to support the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers Program (UgIFT) for results in Education and Health sectors. 04/04/19 Euro 40.0 million from Kreditanstalt Fur Wiederaufbau (KFW), the German Development Bank, to finance the Lira-Gulu- Agago 132KV Transmission Line Project and associated Sub- Stations. 25/04/19 USD 104.0 million from Standard Chartered Bank to finance the National CCTV Network Expansion Project.
