The W.O.W. Bus Headed your way this spring! The W.O.W. (Wonderful Outdoor World) Bus is getting kids back outdoors! The W.O.W. Bus is now in its fourth year and to celebrate, we will be coming out to your parks more frequently. This FREE program brings children and families of the community together through a variety of activities. Group games like parachute games and dodge ball are offered. Artistic skills are encouraged through activities such as draw- ing with sidewalk chalk, coloring, painting, and craft techniques of making a beaded necklace. Limited number of Buy-Outs per class available Children enrolled in the Fair Oaks Preschool Program will become exposed to numbers, letters, and shapes and more importantly they will learn how to socialize, get along with other children, share and contribute to circle time. The children will learn how to raise their hands, share the teacher’s attention and separate from Mommy or Daddy. Children who attend preschool typically make an easier transition into kindergarten. Scholarship Opportunity

The District’s goal is to provide a quality recreation experi- ence to every child, and that no potential participant would ever be turned away because of a financial hardship. The Board of Directors established an annual “Don Ralls Memorial Scholarship Fund” for Fair Oaks youth and seniors.

This program is available on a case-by-case basis. Eligible participants will receive up to a 50% discount on one District program upon the approved completion of an application and meeting all appropriate criteria.
