DILANA: New Single ‘Sexaholic’ out Now! For Immediate Release April 4th, 2012 DILANA: New Single ‘Sexaholic’ Out Now! Her Album-Her Way Kickstarter Campaign Ending April 9th! South African rocker DILANA is ready to reclaim the spotlight. The multi-talented singer, songwriter and actress, well known for her runner-up performance on Rockstar: Supernova, has just released her latest single 'Sexaholic', and is busy putting the finishing touches on her new music video for the dynamic and provocative song. 'Sexaholic' brings the dark side of the disease known as sex addiction to the forefront. The eye-catching video, presented by Eardish.com, promises to be a dark, disturbing and unique look at this often overlooked affliction. The track is currently available for purchase on iTunes and at other digital outlets, and the video is due to be released in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout. Following the release of the ‘Sexaholic’ video, DILANA will enter the studio to create a brand new album, the follow up to 2009's Inside Out, with plans for a late 2012 release. Inspired by such visceral singers as Janis Joplin and Tina Turner, she left home and found herself with a promising music career in Holland, becoming one of the country’s most coveted live acts. Her 2000 album, Wonderfool, scored five singles, four videos and a string of touring and festival gigs throughout the region. In 2006, DILANA appeared as a finalist on the popular reality television show Rock Star: Supernova. Her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence amassed legions of new fans from around the world. Since placing as first runner up on the show, DILANA has performed with rock legends Tommy Lee and Mick Mars (Mötley Crue), Velvet Revolver, Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Panic Channel) The Bangles, and Gilby Clark (Guns N’ Roses). In 2007, she opened for Aerosmith and Beth Hart, and launched two solo tours spanning North America and Western Europe that consistently earned stellar reviews. Wakolbinger On October 9, 2012, Judge Grady, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, dismissed a copyright-infringement action against rock band Mötley Crüe for lack of personal jurisdiction.1 The suit was brought by Ron Toma, who owns copyrights in certain photographs of band members Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, and Tommy Lee. One of those photographs was a close up of singer Vince Neil’s waist area, featuring a prominent studded belt buckle (the “Belt Buckle Image”). The photograph was taken by Michael Pinter in 1981 and used as the cover artwork for Mötley Crüe’s debut album, “Too Fast for Love.” Toma acquired the copyright in that image in 2008 through assignment.
