Set in Natchez, the novel weaves a moving story around two unrelated topics: early-onset Alzhei- mer’s and political correctness gone amok. Parker has been self-employed as an artist since 1992. Her career began with her creating a whimsical line of paper and epoxy pins, which she sold at arts/crafts festivals and galleries. That same year, she combined her art skills with her ability to write in metered rhyme.
