January 21 — College Closed January 28 — Happy New Year Parents! Summer Job Fair February 2 — We recently finished a wonderful fall semester at Martin Methodist Barton Scholarship College. Congratulations to all of you that helped your student get Competition through their first semester of college. What an accomplishment! February 16 — We have an exciting Spring Semester planned for your students! For Alford & Future Teachers Scholarship Competitions our freshmen, First Year Experience has multiple off-campus trips planned, as well as activities on campus. For all of our students, we are excited to present Home- March 4 — coming events (week of February 4-9), free movies, a concert, Alternative Spring Break Trip, weekly Mid-Term Grades Released student activities, and monthly opportunities for service and civic engagement. Encourage your March 4-8 — student to engage in activities available to them on campus! Spring Break We are also excited to announce the opening of our Student Solution Center located in the Campus March 26 — Life House (see below for more information). Students are invited to come for a light lunch and to meet potential employers from a variety of sectors: camp and retreat ministries, non-profit, and business settings. Opportunities will include both paid & volunteer positions in urban & rural settings.
