Rolling Stones koncert Budapesten 2007-ben, mikor 11 éves voltam, a rock-történelem egyik, ha nem a legnagyobb zenekara járta a világot utolsó koncertturnéjukkal, ami Budapestet is érintette. A Rolling Stones több rangos díja mellett az is szembetűnő, hogy ma már több mint 50 éve van együtt a zenekar, igaz, a zenekar konfliktusok vagy más problémák miatt többször is tagcserére kényszerült. A „Bigger Bang” koncertturné 2 évig tartott, 147 koncertből állt, és majdnem 560 millió dollárt költöttek rá. Úgy vélem, a számok magukért beszélnek, hogy milyen nagyszabásúra is sikeredett ez a turné. A legfigyelemreméltóbb azonban az, hogy ezt mind majdnem 70 évesen hajtották végre. Kevesebb, mint 50 év alatt 23 nagylemezt, 15 filmet és 39 turnét indítottak útjára, és sikeresen is fejezték be őket. Nekem tetszett, de hallottam, hogy több embernek nem nyerte el a tetszését, ami szerintem a fiatalos hangzás és furcsa kinézet miatt lehetett, de ezzel szerintem nincs semmi gond, az előadás nagyon rendben volt. 21:15-kor végül is jött az, amire 30000 ember várt, már mióta a jegyek a kezekben voltak: a Rolling Stones Bigger Bang turné budapesti fellépése! A koncert egy kisebb piro-technikai műsorral kezdődött, nagyon jól összekötve a kezdő dallal, ami a „Start Me Up” volt. A dalok listája: 1. "Start Me Up" 2. "You Got Me Rocking" 3. "Rough Justice" 4. "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" 5. "She Was Hot" 6. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" 7. "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" 8. "I'll Go Crazy" 9. "Tumbling Dice" 10. "You Got The Silver" 11. "Wanna Hold You" 12. "Miss You" 13. "It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It)" 14. "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" 15. "Honky Tonk Women" 16. "Sympathy For The Devil" 17. "Paint It Black" 18. "Jumpin' Jack Flash" 19. "Brown Sugar” A „Brown Sugar” méltó befejezése volt a koncertnek. Részemről nem tudtam volna jobb, tökéletesebb végszót találni. A dalok listáját olvasva, a banda igyekezett a legnépszerűbb dalaikat előadni, de mindeközben akartak valami újat is mutatni, ami elképesztő, hogy még 45 év után is sikerült! Körülbelül a koncert közepén Keith Richards, a zenekar szólógitárosa, egyedül egy darab blues gitárral a kezében több dalt is eljátszott, ami a koncertet lírikus irányba vitte. Talán ez volt az este fénypontja a közönségnek, hiszen hatalmas ováció kísérte mindegyik dal végét, ami a ’gitáros nagypapát’ meg is hatotta. A koncert második felében a zenekar egyszer csak elkezdett előre fele haladni hangszerestül, és a második színpadig (ami jóval kisebb volt, mint a nagyszínpad) meg sem állt, ahol egy kisebb házi rockabilly bulit csaptak. Az utolsó néhány dalra ’visszautaztak’ a nagyszínpadra, ahol a közönség, vagyis a mi nagy örömünkre előadták a leghíresebb a dalukat, a „Satisfaction”-t.     Keep On Moving: Exile at The Razor – Rolling Stones at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro on July 7 I first saw the Rolling Stones in fall 1989 on their Steel Wheels tour. At the time, being an adolescent punk rocker, I didn’t give a shit about “corporate rock” like the Stones. My dad, who loves the Stones, had tickets for the show at the old Foxboro Stadium. Someone had cancelled last minute so he had an extra ticket for the show and asked me to go. I weighed for a second like any moronic teenager whether to continue skateboarding or see the Rolling Stones. The deciding factor was that I liked their new single “Mixed Emotions” and even a jaded teenage punk had to respect Keith Richards. I loved the show and ever since the Stones have been my second favorite band of all time. The Stones were considered old and washed up in 1989, so surely 30 years later they might as well be the Egyptian pharaohs, right? Here is the thing with the Stones: They may wrinkle but they don’t get old. The No Filter tour hit Gillette Stadium, right next door to where I saw them 30 years ago. It started ominously for sure when it had to be delayed a month because Mick Jagger had to have heart surgery. Heart surgery for the lead singer would put any band on the shelf, but when the singer routinely runs about 5 miles during the course of a show and oh yeah… is in his mid-70s — one would think that was the end.

The ACTORS put on smocks. ACTOR ONE, who is now JASMINE, late forties/early fifties with relaxed hair, puts a CD in the player. Nina Simone’s “Love Me or Leave Me” plays loudly. JASMINE pulls a small envelope out of the pocket of her smock, holds it above her head, and dances around the shop, while the other ACTOR, who is now ANGIE, mid to late twenties with natural hair, sits in one of the barber chairs with her notebook sulking.
