This is the regular newsletter from Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhood Team. Between 01/06/2018 and 30/06/2018 there have been 159 incidents reported to Police and recorded on the forces command and control system for the WRE area. Out of those incidents there were:

• 43 Road related (incl RTC’s, abandoned vehicles and breakdowns) • 5 Anti-Social Behaviour (including neighbour disputes) • 7 Burglaries / Theft • 6 Vehicle Crime • 3 Damage • 18 Suspicious Incident(s) • 3 Alarm(s) • 74 Other

Warwick Rural East Community Forum

The next Warwick Rural East Community Forum shall be held on Wednesday 10-OCT-2018 at Baginton Village Hall, Frances Road, Baginton, CV8 3AB. The meeting will commence at 1930hrs; doors open at 1900hrs. Please arrive promptly so that the meeting can start on time.

Incidents Below is a selection of incidents that have occurred on the Warwick Rural East area during June 2018.

Bubbenhall

Theft: Between 17:00hrs Tuesday 08-MAY-2018 and 17:00hrs Tuesday 05- JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) stole a trailer from a paddock near Watery Lane, Bubbenhall.

Vehicle Crime: Between 19:00hrs Tuesday 26-JUN-2018 and 08:00hrs Wednesday 27-JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) damaged a grey ‘15’ plate Ford Mondeo estate that was parked at the roadside on Lower End, Bubbenhall. Offender(s) caused damage to the paintwork.

Cubbington

Vehicle Crime: Between 23:00hrs Thursday 07-JUN-2018 and 06:00hrs Friday 08-JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) forced entry into a white ‘63’ plate Mercedes Sprinter van that was parked at the roadside on Rugby Road, Cubbington. Offender(s) stole a power tool from the rear of the vehicle.

Vehicle Crime: Between 21:20hrs Thursday 07-JUN-2018 and 08:30hrs Friday 08-JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) forced entry into a white Volkswagen Transporter van that was parked on the drive, outside a residential property on Broadway, Cubbington. Nothing was stolen.

Theft: Between 17:00hrs Saturday 09-JUN-2018 and 17:00hrs Sunday 10- JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) have entered the rear garden at a residential property on High View Road, Cubbington and stole a pedal cycle. The pedal cycle is described as a child’s Fuji Ace pedal cycle, white with red handle bars.

Vehicle Crime: Between 18:00hrs Wednesday 13-JUN-2018 and 16:00hrs Thursday 14-JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) stole registration plates from a red ‘04’ plate Fiat Punto that was parked at the front of a property on Road, Cubbington.

Burglary: Between 12:00hrs Sunday 24-JUN-2018 and 06:30hrs Tuesday 26- JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) gained entry into Cubbington Methodist Church on Queen Street, Cubbington. Offender(s) conducted an untidy search inside the vestry. A small amount of loose change was stolen.

Stoneleigh

Damage: Between 21:00hrs Thursday 21-JUN-2018 and 09:45hrs Sunday 24- JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) entered the bell tower at St. Mary’s Church on Church Lane, Stoneleigh and caused damage to a number of items.

Theft: Between 01:00hrs and 09:00hrs Thursday 14-JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) stole a secure pedal cycle from a cycle rack at the front of Redfern Halls of residence on Warwick University Campus. The stolen pedal cycle is described as a black gents GT Aggressor sports mountain-bike.

Theft: Between 01:00hrs and 09:00hrs Thursday 14-JUN-2018 unknown offender(s) stole a secure pedal cycle from a cycle rack at the front of Redfern Halls of residence on Warwick University Campus. The stolen pedal cycle is described as a black gents Saracen Mantra trails mountain-bike.
