This subject is as close to the heart of crores of our fellow countrymen as it is to me. And I feel honoured to speak about this. This subject is connected to Shri Ram Janm Bhoomi and is about construction of a magnificent temple of Bhagwan Shri Ram at his birth place at Ayodhya. On 9th November 2019, I was in Punjab for dedicating the Kartarpur Sahib corridor to the nation on the occasion of the 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanakdev ji. It was in this divine environment that I come to know about the historical judgment of Highest Court of the country on the subject of Ram Janm Bhoomi. In this judgement, the Hon'ble Supreme Court decided that the Inner and Outer Courtyard of the disputed land in Ram Janm Bhoomi belongs to Bhagwan Shri Ram Lalla Virajman. The Hon'ble Supreme Court, in their judgment, had also stated that the Central Government and the State Government, in consultation with each other, will allot 5 acres of land to the Sunni Central Waqf Board. Today, I am very happy to share with this august House and the entire country that the Union Cabinet in its meeting held this morning has taken important decisions on this issue, keeping in mind the directions of the Supreme Court.

Government has sanctioned a total of 42 slots of Mega Food Park Projects in the country. Out of these, Ministry has accorded final approval to 38 Mega Food Park Projects and in- principle approval to 4 Mega Food Park projects. Presently, there is no vacant slot to be filled in. Ministry of Food Processing Industries does not establish Mega Food Parks in the country on its own.

Shri Rampal Singh was a member of the 10th, 12th and 13th Lok Sabhas representing Domariyaganj Parliamentary Constituency of Uttar Pradesh. Shri Rampal Singh passed away on 17 November, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Shri Y.V. Rao was a member of the 13th Lok Sabha representing the Guntur Parliamentary Constituency of Andhra Pradesh. SHRI SAPTAGIRI SANKAR ULAKA: Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware that sickle cell unit at Koraput is still at proposal stage for the last two years, if so, the details thereof; (b) whether the Government proposes to make the sickle cell unit functional, if so, the time likely to be taken therefor; (c) whether the Government is aware that departments like radiology, orthopedic and oncology in Koraput Medical College have failed to render services due to lack of required equipment and operators; and (d) if so, the steps taken by the Government to revive these services? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SHRI ASHWINI KUMAR CHOUBEY) (a) & (b): As per the information received from State of Odisha, there is a proposal for control of Sickle Cell disease and Thalassemia Major in Odisha in collaboration with CMC, Vellore and Department of Biotechnology, GoI and the MoU was for the same was signed on 5th December, 2017. Training of Medical Officers, procurement of equipments and instruments and establishment of SPMU at ILS, Bhubaneswar has been completed. At present, there is availability of drugs and mobility support is given to the affected persons for regular consultations at Hospital @ Rs500/- per month (directly transferred to Bank Accounts of the beneficiary at CHC level).
