Regulatory Update - Indonesia Regulatory Update - Indonesia Changes to Accredited Laboratory Lists for HKT and non-HKT Devices Further to PCS’s Regulatory Update dated 29th April 2020, the Indonesian Regulator - Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) – has updated the accredited laboratories list whereby a paperwork Type Approval application process can be followed. This updated list is effective immediately, from 23rd July 2020. As a reminder, a paperwork-only approach for applications to SDPPI is currently permitted for all devices if all test reports are from an SDPPI-accredited laboratory. In any other case, local testing is required. This requirement is split into HKT devices (Cellular Phones, Handheld Computers, Computer Tablets) and non-HKT devices (all other categories). Both lists of accredited labs for HKT and non-HKT are now consolidated into one regulation -124 Tahun 2020. This is included as an attachment to this Regulatory Update, as well as a PCS English translation. There are now 16 labs on the HKT list, down from 33. There are now 72 labs on the non-HKT list, down from 150. Both HKT and non-HKT lab lists are valid until 23rd January 2021. The searchable table online on SDPPI’s website showing which labs are currently accredited for HKT and non-HKT products is here. ‘YA’ indicates that a lab is accredited; ‘TIDAK’ indicates that a lab is not accredited. • 2020 MEC SUPPLIER DISCLOSURE LIST in 2008, MEC Made a Commitment to Its Members to Disclose the Names and Addresses of Factories That Manufacture MEC Label Products
2020 MEC SUPPLIER DISCLOSURE LIST In 2008, MEC made a commitment to its members to disclose the names and addresses of factories that manufacture MEC Label products. We rely on our supply chain partners to commit and adopt MEC's social compliance policy and supplier code of conduct. To drive meaningful change, we understand that we need to work with our supply chain partners to meet the requirements set out in our policies. Listed product manufacturers (tier 1) represent 100% of our finished good supply chain. In an effort to continue MEC’s journey into supply chain transparency, MEC has added our Tier 1 subcontractor supply chain and our material supply-chain partners to the supplier disclosure list in September 2017. It is our commitment to our members that we will continue to disclose our supply chain partners; working to expand this list to include trims, component and subcomponent manufacturers. This list was last updated in January 2020. MEC updates its supplier list twice a year. This list fluctuates over time to reflect changes in product seasonality and our supplier base. Gushan: the Formation of a Chan Lineage During the Seventeenth Century and Its Spread to Taiwan Hsuan-Li Wang Submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY 2014 © 2014 Hsuan-Li Wang All rights reserved ABSTRACT Gushan: the Formation of a Chan Lineage During the Seventeenth Century and Its Spread to Taiwan Hsuan-Li Wang Taking Gushan 鼓山 Monastery in Fujian Province as a reference point, this dissertation investigates the formation of the Gushan Chan lineage in Fujian area and its later diffusion process to Taiwan. From the perspective of religion diffusion studies, this dissertation investigates the three stages of this process: 1. the displacement of Caodong 曹洞 Chan center to Fujian in the seventeenth century; 2. Chinese migration bringing Buddhism to Taiwan in the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) and 3. the expansion diffusion activities of the institutions and masters affiliated with this lineage in Taiwan during the Japanese rule (1895-1945), and the new developments of humanistic Buddhism (renjian fojiao 人間佛教) after 1949. In this spreading process of the Gushan Chan lineage, Taiwanese Buddhism has emerged as the bridge between Chinese and Japanese Buddhism because of its unique historical experiences. It is in the expansion diffusion activities of the Gushan Chan lineage in Taiwan that Taiwanese Buddhism has gradually attained autonomy during the Japanese rule, leading to post-war new developments in contemporary humanistic Buddhism. These conditions afford Taiwan a rich variety of wetland environments on coasts and around its lakes and rivers. On July 3, 2013, the legislature of the Taiwanese government passed the third reading of the Wetland Conservation Act, which took effect on February 2, 2015. The act lists a total of 42 wetlands of international and national prominence and 41 others of regional prominence (provisional designation) across Taiwan. In addition, before the implementation of the act, the Ministry of the Interior reduced the total area of designated wetlands nationwide from the 56,860 hectares established in 2011 to 47,627 hectares. This study investigated the Wugu Wetland in the Erchong Floodway in New Taipei City, a wetland located in a metropolitan area of northern Taiwan that had been partially damaged from misuse, and examined the recent restoration policies for the wetland implemented by the New Taipei City government. A SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis was subsequently conducted to propose feasible strategies for positive restoration outcomes of the wetland.

  • Vertical Facility List
Facility List The Walt Disney Company is committed to fostering safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces wherever Disney-branded products are manufactured. Numerous measures in support of this commitment are in place, including increased transparency. To that end, we have published this list of the roughly 7,600 facilities in over 70 countries that manufacture Disney-branded products sold, distributed or used in our own retail businesses such as The Disney Stores and Theme Parks, as well as those used in our internal operations. Our goal in releasing this information is to foster collaboration with industry peers, governments, non- governmental organizations and others interested in improving working conditions. Under our International Labor Standards (ILS) Program, facilities that manufacture products or components incorporating Disney intellectual properties must be declared to Disney and receive prior authorization to manufacture. The list below includes the names and addresses of facilities disclosed to us by vendors under the requirements of Disney’s ILS Program for our vertical business, which includes our own retail businesses and internal operations. The list does not include the facilities used only by licensees of The Walt Disney Company or its affiliates that source, manufacture and sell consumer products by and through independent entities. Disney’s vertical business comprises a wide range of product categories including apparel, toys, electronics, food, home goods, personal care, books and others. As a result, the number of facilities involved in the production of Disney-branded products may be larger than for companies that operate in only one or a limited number of product categories. In addition, because we require vendors to disclose any facility where Disney intellectual property is present as part of the manufacturing process, the list includes facilities that may extend beyond finished goods manufacturers or final assembly locations.
